"Neil Gibson is an undiscovered Brian Michael Bendis" - Bleeding Cool
Tortured Life is a 6 issue Miniseries / Graphic Novel about an everyday guy called Richard Carter who has the supernatural power of seeing how people are going to die. At first, Richard tried to help people - thinking his gift was something that would allow him to save lives. Unfortunately for Richard this was not the case; he was destined to watch those around him die, powerless to stop fate from playing out it's wicked hand. As a result of this, Richard now lives a life of solitude - hiding himself away from his fellow man, desperate to stop the visions that plague him every time he looks at anyone.
Unbeknown to Richard, not long after his power first manifested, so too did an otherworldly creature known as The Bloody Man - an assassin from the netherworld. A creature half living, half dead, in the servitude of an Illuminati-like group known only as The Order. A monster with one mission:
Kill Richard Carter.

"Tortured Life sounds very cool indeed." - Mike Carey (Eisner nominated writer of Lucifer, The Unwritten, Hellblazer)
From the creative team that brought you the indie hit horror anthology Twisted Dark and the hit thriller miniseries Tabatha, comes a story of supernatural horror unlike anything you've ever read before. Originally planned as a one-shot comic, due to overwhelming positive response from our fans we've decided to run the comic for a full 6 issues. At this very moment, our superstar artist, Caspar Wijngaard, is hard at work penciling, inking, and coloring the remaining issues #2-#6 of Tortured Life. With the story and the artwork all taken care of, we've turned to Kickstarter to help us with the cost of printing, publishing, and distributing this series.
This is where YOU come in.
"The chaps from T Pub never fail to impress. Their new OGN Tortured Life deserves your attention and support." - Si Spurrier (Writer of X-men: Legacy, Crossed, 6 Gun Gorilla.)
We can't do this without you. As a show of good faith we raided The Order's secret library for files on our hero and villain. After all, if you're going to back this comic, you'll want to know who you'll be reading about.
"Neil Gibson does everything he needs to and in just 24 pages creates a life, a problem and delivers enough suspense to make us intrigued." -Forbidden Planet

"Caspar Wijngaard showed a level of talent in his drawings that marks him out as one to watch. Clearly a great talent that will explode when one of the big publishers notices the quality of his dynamic art." -PM Buchan (Starburst)

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT TORTURED LIFE
"The art by Casper Wijngaard is really one of the stand out things in this book, a line drawing style that contains both the darkness and overall morbid tone of the book, and also captures the colour and vibrancy to make it pop of the page and keep the reader engaged." - We The Nerdy
"Gibson has a talent for suspense and it really flourishes in his writing...he takes a left turn right in front of you, cuts off your train of thought and leaves your mind crashed and wondering what just happened -- in a good way, of course." - Comicsbulletin
"The art is very nice. It’s got a different style to it, not truly real but not cartoony. The characters all look differently and Wijngaard does a good job depicting various forms of death without going overboard with too much gore." -The Comix Verse
"If you enjoy a story line with a supernatural edge to it, then this is the one for you." -Badhaven
"Well written and illustrated, this is a fantastic story that leaves you feeling sorry for the main character. What makes this such a gripping read is the slow and steady build up and evenly sectioned story." - Pages&Panels
"The artwork, by Wijngaard, is so well suited to the genre of this macabre tale. It communicates the grimness of Richards existence perfectly." - That Comic Blog
