@Nebia - I'm sorry guys, but your suggestions about Strength Mode and turning up the water temperature had already been tried and are just not working. Trust me, I tried everything. The temperature differential is just WAY more than is practical.

@Paul Conaghan - We are sorry to hear that the Nebia has not been working ideally in your setup. In these cases, we recommend turning on Strength Mode (the switch on your shower arm) as that usually makes the water feel warmer. In addition, you can turn the water temperature up in your home (here is how: https://support.nebia.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002149448-How-do-I-turn-up-the-temperature-on-my-water-heater-). Jeremy they have just stopped responding to messages. Completely unethical and a horrible way to be towards the earliest backers.

Australian backer here - finally installed the Nebia about a week ago having FINALLY received the appropriate parts to allow installation to Australian standard pipes. Not great to have to wait the extra time for such a big mistake from Nebia!!
Alas, I have today, UNISTALLED the Nebia as it is just not usable due to the ENORMOUS temperature differential from shower head to floor. With the Nebia, I have to have my water on as hot as possible (in my old shower, that would have been unbearable) and the water about halfway down from the shower to the floor is already cold. This is somewhat tempered by the waist level wand but while I have tried to love it and have used it for a week, it is just not going to work. Perhaps in the middle of summer I might be able to JUST get away with it, but it will not be a pleasant experience for much of the year.
It's a real shame, because I loved the sensation of the mist on my skin generally and I love the idea that I'm saving water. Alas, I would also be saving water with the Nebia because of my need to literally get my shower over and done with as soon as possible because I'm getting cold. I didn't love my old cheap shower, but I never found it unpleasant. The Nebia was just that - unpleasant.
Sorry guys, just didn't work for me (and I can see from reading through everyone's posts that many feel the same way).

The company has informed me there will be no refund and no product sent to me either.
Really really disappointing and completely unethical.
From recent postings from team Nebia, it seems that they are more concerned with the opening of their retail store than serving the backers that propelled them to that position.
Another week has passed and no support response nor comments from the Nebians to my concerns. Concerns which I am sure are also shared by other Australian supporters.
I am ready to jump ship and have supported a New Zealand company Methven with a new shower head that gives more spray force and warmth than the Nebia. Perhaps it uses more water than the Nebia, but that is a trade off in terms of using less power or gas to heat up the Nebia mist.
And yes, being a NZ company the fittings should suit Australian plumbing to a plum.

Another week has passed, the massive Nebia box sits forlornly. Still no response in terms of the fix for Australian plumbing.
@Tim Conway, so have you installed the Nebia? I volunteered to be a test pilot for their proposed fix, and yes they sent me a small packet with a plastic collar, lube, sandpaper and a plastic scraper like thing. No instructions with that though.
I found an email with apparent instructions for Australian instals, but not being very handyman inclined, I could not make sense of it. It appears also to require a "plastic block" to be put near the bottom to make it sit vertical.
Where does one get a plastic block in the specific dimensions stated? How does one fix the plastic block eyesore?
Emailed their support, but no response since about a week.
Aargh, this is turning into a fiasco.
@Nebia, I wanted to ask if it was normal for the spray jet to rust as three of the spray jets are exhibiting some rust. The Nebia shower head is also stained by some of the rusting. What can be done about this issue?
I've not received any tracking/ shipping info for my Nebia although your update states 100% fulfilment. Please assist!
My Nebia has been delivered some days ago. I didn't write any message right away because I was in the shower all the time from the moment I set it up (SUPER EASY!!!) until now. :D

My kids, 2 and 4 years old, love it (they hate the "standard" shower) and my wife loves it too.
I didn't need to increase my water temperature, was 48°C and maybe I can decrease it to 46°C.
Totally worth the 2 years wait.

Hello to all Nebia backers and the Nebia team. Firstly, to those claiming this is a SCAM are way off base. I mean really? It does appear that some international backers are still experiencing delivery issues. This is sad, but it is certainly not a scam. I am in Southern California USA and received mine back in March if I recall. Since they were shipped from Northern California, it wasn't a big issue or time frame for shipment. It's also disheartening to hear of the troubles others are having in regard to defects, and so forth. For what it's worth I will give my personal assessment and review of the product after months of use.
Packaging and form factor: Excellent..the unit is packed super well, very thought out and protected. Everything you need is in the box. It certainly was thoughtfully designed and great care was taken. The quality and design certainly is also excellent. Rating 10
Installation: This also was well thought out and made easy. The written instructions were complimented by the online video tutorial. It really was a no brainer to accomplish. In most circumstances expect 15-30 minute install. Removing the existing fixture will be the most time spent. Just follow instructions carefully. Rating 9
The Shower experience: OK this is the most important of course. The daily use of the shower is where the rubber meets the road. On first use I a bit put off by the stinging from the spray my eyes took. I found the spray a bit harsh. After using a couple of more time I got use to it. It is not the soft cloud experience like I thought it would be. It certainly soaks you. I wish I could even move the shower head higher. I'm not totally disappointed, it's a nice shower experience. Just not what I thought it was by the description. I certainly would be pissed to have spent retail $500-650. In no way is it worth it in my opinion. I would return it for that kind of money. It is unique, no doubt, but the typical Home Depot shopper wouldn't touch it. The wand does a good job, and use it often off the magnetic holder. Great feature BTW. My only complaint here, is that it would be nice to be able to turn off the main head and only use the wand. Great for washing your pet. The only other control is one of the main jets from top can be off or on and the wand can be turned off, not the main head. This shower really steams up the bathroom. So be prepared. I have a ceiling exhaust and it wont clear the steam unless AC is on. If you have a window keep it open. If you have wallpaper (does anybody these days) it might be an issue. Lastly, water temperature. Like many have stated, it does decrease the temp of the water. You will have to turn your hot all the way to keep the water warm. The farther from the head the cooler it gets of course. I use the wand to get close up hot water. Well that's it for me. Due to some short falls I mentioned my Overall Rating 7.5

I'd iike to ask for an additional dock. Would it be possible to buy a second one? My shower cabin is rectangular and it feels better to have the flexible hand shower from the side wall.
Furthermore, from my (german) point of view, the bracket was not perfect tighten to the wall. I fixed it with additional silicon joint left and right of the bracket. No it is perfect and still removable.
No response in a month.

My wand has failed again. I am on my second one now due to this issue. The gasket inside or something fails and it pours water out of the side of the wand and at a very fast rate wasting tons of water. My water pressure is in line with their requirements too.
I have sent them an email letting them know it has happened again. The first time I thought I was just unlucky and received a faulty one but now I know there must be a flaw in the design.
Hallo Iwan, I'm from Austria and I haven't received antything by now. Actually don't want it any more. I'm waiting already for 2 years, and there is no end in sight, that's not what was promised. I want my money back. I gave them a lot of money, as I ordered three of them. And I don't expect there problem to be solved in the near future, as it has never been prescribed what the problem is

So our nebia units have finally arrived, and now we've discovered that you (secretly?) changed the height specifications for the shower outlets. We recently renovated our bathrooms with the nebias in mind, so were careful to install the outlets at the recommended heights you supplied back in early 2016 or earlier. We now have discovered that these are over 10" too low according to the new design. Your info page still says "at least 5' from the floor" - what, for a shower only tall enough for children?? We'll have to hire plumbers and tilers to renovate the bathroom again and make the required changes so that the shower head will be above our heads. This will be hugely expensive, on top of the existing expense of initially preparing our bathroom for the new shower head.
It's a reasonable request to ask for at least a partial refund - the cost of the work is quoted at $1000. We have been living with uncomfortably low, temporary shower heads while we waited the extra year it took you to supply the nebia to Australia. We can't even test the shower head at the current position because you changed the specs regarding what outlet type was needed. We're so devastated - after championing your product and convincing so many friends to back the nebia (all of whom received theirs long before us, some by many months), this really hurts.

@Nebia, I've installed the shower and it was working fine. However its now leaking badly from internal to the shower itself. It isn't leaking from the wall connection. I've been through the contact us form on your website twice and you haven't got back to me. Any chance you could respond? Cheers, CraigDoughby
@gadgetstorm, I have the same issue (also located in Australia). Most modern Australian bathrooms have a 1/2"BSP thread male outlet, as yours and mine have. The fix by Nebia is simple: just provide a 1/2"BSPT collar; we don't need all those NPT:BSPT male spouts. I'll happily test!

Here in Western Australia, I did not have a problem with the Nebia clearing customs.
However, my existing shower pipe has a make thread. Nebia has sent surveys saying that they are working on a fix for this as apparently many Australian bathrooms have this issue.
So, the Nebia can't be installed with the fittings it came with.
Nebia, we would appreciate an update on the solution.
UNHAPPY with product. I was extremely excited about the arrival of the Nebia and was one of the early backers of the project (I think I originally backed this project up in 2015).
However, now that I have installed the new shower system, I must say that I am unfortunately disappointed with the shower, to the point that I avoid my bathrooom with the Nebia shower.
The shower seems to actually reduce the water pressure and also, the water comes out cold for a while even under the "hot" water setting.
Well Surprise found out the Nebias arrived. Thanks for sorting it out!
Like the other Australians my nebia has taken an extortionate amount of time to arrive and is now being sent back to the distributor.
I had brought in a plumber to have everything sorted at my own cost and now that looks like its going to be for nothing.
What are we to do as you had promised "will have the issue resolved [for you] shortly"

@Michael Gale, we understand your frustration and apologize for this experience. Just so you know, all shipments to our Australian backers included electronic commercial invoice documents. We've contacted the local customs office where your order is being held to provide the additional documentation needed and will have this issue resolved for you shortly.
Are any Australian backers having issues with customs clearance? I've been asked to provide a commercial invoice (they won't accept the Kickstarter pledge page). I've contacted Nebia support via e-mail, and attempted contact via phone (they claim office hours of 9am-6pm PT, but having tried them between 3-5pm PT it just goes to a message advising me to call back during office hours) and so far nothing - So frustrating having my new shower-in-a-cloud experience waiting for me at customs and Nebia seemingly ignoring my request for help! I'd almost rather have them still sitting stateside; as at some point Australian customs will lose their patience and just destroy them.
If you know anyone looking for a Nebia I am willing to sell mine for the price I got it so long as they pay shipping because otherwise, I will just return my Nebia. I tried to install it all last night and for some reason the shower arm will not budge no matter what I do. It is firmly attached in the wall. I tried using a wrench, a vice grip, some WD40 on the inside of the wall but it is firmly secure. It feels almost as if the shower arm is attached to a giant thing inside and is unscrewable. I am scared that the pipes are very old in my apartment complex and rusted. If I try too hard they could break and then I will be stuck with a hefty repair fix from my complex. It is really depressing because I was so excited for this project..... :/
