Who is Naysayer Coffee Roasters?
Naysayer Coffee Roasters is a family owned specialty coffee roastery launched in Napa, CA by Chris and Beth Vecera. We specialize in online coffee sales and wholesale accounts. For us, it's about the coffee experience and making specialty coffee for everyday life. Whether it's through your local bakery or your morning pot of joe, we believe our coffee fits your life - we're making craft coffee common.
We decided to start this adventure because ever since we met in college, we’ve dreamt of starting a coffee company together. Over the last ten years we’ve been working hard towards making this dream a reality. We love developing relationships with farmers around the world, the science and art of every step in the roasting process, and serving coffee that fit your life. It would mean so much to us if you would consider supporting this project.
The word naysayer usually gets a bad rap for always being negative, especially when it seems like nothing is wrong. For us, Naysayer isn’t so much about pessimism as it is about working toward change. We believe specialty coffee can be part of your daily experience. We want Naysayer Coffee to represent working hard to accomplish what you believe in despite the temptation to be comfortable with the status quo.
The beauty of Naysayer is that everyone has something that they’d like to work to change. We’d say, go for it. Work hard and be nice. People will say you can’t get it done, but their will always be pessimists. As a Naysayer, we all can work toward change.

Risks and challenges
We are in the process of permitting our new facility and gathering bids for contractors. This takes time and could possibly delay the project, but we are doing our best to maintain our schedule.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
