The Navasota String Band is finishing up material for their new full length album and needs a Kickstart from its fans. The new project brings the up-tempo, foot stomping tunes laced in old-timey undertones that the Navasota String Band is known for. A lot has changed since the debut of the Navasota String Band's first self-titled album. New instrumentation includes mandolin and autoharp, there is added emphasis on vocal harmonies, and the trio has become a quartet welcoming Joesph McGill into the NSB family. New original songs have been added to the repertoire that have the audience dancing to a new step, and it ain't the two step. The songs on this new album are the fruit of over a year of knuckle biting creative labor and experience gathered from playing for live audiences from Austin, Texas to Paris, France to Istanbul, Turkey and back again. The Navasota String Band has planted the seed for a beautiful and provoking new album, but they need the help of their fans to make it bloom. That is why the Navasota String Band is proud to officially announce the launch of their Kickstarter campaign with the aim of raising enough money to record, produce, and promote a second full-length album and share it with string music lovers across the universe.
