Posted by Nasheet Zaman and Jacquelyn Piette (Creator)

Hello everyone!

We are extremely excited to announce that One Per Person (2016) has been accepted into its second major film festival for 2016, the Chicago International Children's Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois! Founded in 1983, this massive 10 day event is the both the first and the largest film festival for children in the United States and hosts a wide array of children's films from across the world. To quote the CICFF web site, "it is the mission of the Chicago International Children's Film Festival to set an internationally recognized standard of excellence in film, video, and television production for children."

One Per Person (2016) will be featured in the festival's Persistence Pay-Off 75-minute block of short films on Wednesday, November 2 at 9:45AM in the Music Box Theatre, Theater #1. The theme of the Persistence Pay-Off block is "Do the Right Thing, Manage Expectations, Deduction, Persistence", a perfect summary of the themes explored in One Per Person (2016).

In addition, One Per Person's still image was used in the festival's weekday schedule! One Per Person (2016) can be found on Page 9 (recommended for children in Grades 1-3) in the following PDF:
