From PCB to PCBA
Remember the first batch of PCBs (Printed Circuit Board) we shared last time? We have "surface mounted" them and now they have become PCBAs, with the A standing for "assembly."
The picture below shows the our first batch of PCBAs. As you can see, most components have been mounted on the board with SMT equipments.
On the other hand, we are working on compliance tests. The picture below is one of the pre-test we did on our own in the factory. And we will have the formal tests soon, which means more technical updates are coming.
And also, here come the PCBs of our maker's modules. Behind them are the PCB films we used to "print" the PCBs. We are about to finalize the firmware of maker's module so we can mount the components on the board.
In the mean time, we got the sample of Qmote's package design. There are a few things that need to be adjusted but overall it's quite good to go. We will let you know what it looks like very soon.
If you have any question, please private message us to make sure we receive it. Since we are very busy with the production recently, please understand late reply may happen, but we will definitely go through each message.
Thank you very much and we will update you again very soon.
