The World's Largest Sherlock Holmes Collection Continues
"The MX New Book of Sherlock Holmes Stories” collection now has over 150 of the world's leading Sherlock Holmes authors participating.
This Kickstarter is for Volumes XVI, XVII and XVIII and includes 49 brand new traditional short stories.
The collection has received an unprecedented number of "starred" reviews from Publishers Weekly,
"This is more catnip for fans of stories faithful to Conan Doyle’s originals" (July 2019, Vol XIII)
Featuring Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (author) and Roger Johnson (SHSL)
With the release of volumes XVI, XVII and XVIII we're very excited to have forewords from author Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Roger Johnson from the Sherlock Holmes Society of London helping to bring the collection to fans across the world.
The Books and their Authors
With this latest set of volumes, Mr Abdul-Jabbar joins a host of famous Sherlockians to have taken part in the collection including Nicholas Meyer, Lee Child, Bonnie MacBird, Lyndsay Faye, Jonathan Kellerman and many more.
As with previous volumes in the collection the books are being produced in traditional hardback with dust jackets, as well as paperback editions. Backers of the project will be getting first edition pre-publication copies ahead of the public release. We're also making copies available as pdf for those who prefer to read these short stories electronically.

David Marcum is one of the world's leading Sherlockian editors having edited over five hundred Sherlock Holmes Stories. The MX Collection was his inspiration back in 2015 when he yearned for more traditional Holmes stories and wanted to create a new collection dedicated to Holmes and Watson in Conan Doyle's original format.
David also writes Holmes fiction and his debut novel 'Quantity of Debt' was a bestselling addition to the Mondadori 'Il Giallo Mondadori' collection in Italy. His own short stories can be found in the collections'Papers of Sherlock Holmes' and 'Tangled Skeins'.
In 2016 on a visit to Stepping Stones, David penned the first line of his next novel in the very spot where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote many of the stories - his study at Undershaw. You can read more about David Marcum and at Appreciating Undershaw
