Muv-Luv Pre-Orders Available on Steam!

Muv-Luv can now be preordered on Steam with a discount of 10%.

It also contains bonus high resolution wallpapers*! This limited offer is available until we release the full game around mid-July. We did this pre-release sale, so everyone who missed the Kickstarter campaign still has a chance to get Muv-Luv at a cheaper price (although our backers got the best deal ;)

Even if you’ve already backed, please share the word with your friends and family and help spread the Luv!

Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited is scheduled to release mid-July. Everyone who’s pledge includes a digital (or physical) copy will receive a steam key the day before the release!

*Backers who contributed for a digital or physical copy of Muv-Luv will also receive the wallpapers!

Try our Muv-Luv VR demo!

If you have an HTC Vive, you can check out Muv-Luv VR demo on Steam for free! The developers have been looking into creating a full VR game where you can explore the Muv-Luv universe.

The game is put together by an indie game development team, and we'll be sharing more info about them and this project in the future!

Muv-Luv PS Vita to be released on PSN a few months after Steam release

Good news for our PS Vita backers! The developers are also preparing for Muv-Luv PS Vita release, and we expect it to be done as soon as the PC/Steam version is finalized and ready for physical production.

To help us make this happen earlier, please do report all bugs/errors/typos you can find in-game on our Steam forums, Official forums, or by emailing us at muvluv@degica.com!

Pillowcase Design Update

Bou-sensei has been working on the pillowcase covers, and he has updated Marimo's design:

We’ll be closing Backer Kit by June 30, so if you haven’t answered your surveys, please do complete it before then so your pledge will be locked and charged without problems.

See you at Anime Expo!

Yoshimune-san will be with us again this July 1-July 4 at booth #4210, with huge announcements that’s not only meant for Muv-Luv. We’re inviting Muv-Luv and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien/Rumbling Hearts fans to visit our booth for exciting events and more! Keep in touch with our Twitter and Facebook for Anime Expo announcements such as Muv-Luv cosplay gatherings and autograph session information.

Thank you very much to everyone who supported our campaign again. Muv-Luv Unlimited's translation is 99.9% complete, and our QA process has started already. The battle at the frontlines has been very tough, it wasn't all for naught; Our translation process has been smoothened over the months and we believe we can finish Alternative within the year.

We've got another update planned by June 30, as well as one when we release Muv-Luv Extra/Unlimited in July :)

Cheers,

Jason@The Muv-Luv Team

Will we be able to see the final design of the dakis soon ? We're supposed to pick a reward before the 30th but some daki illustrations are still rough (Meiya, Marimo & Hayase).
Will the Backer Kit deadline be postposed for those who pledged for a daki ?
      Thank you.

Do we have an ETA for when we'll get the CE and Sumia figurine along with the codex download code? Sorry if I'm asking a old question.

Next year please come to Japan Expo, so that those of us who live on this godforsaken continent called Europe may come and meet you :)

Stream keys will be going out the day before the game becomes public: "Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited is scheduled to release mid-July. Everyone who’s pledge includes a digital (or physical) copy will receive a steam key the day before the release!"

      @Joel Fox

      im wondering this aswell,
because the second i saw muv-luv vr on steam when i logged in,,
it got me wondering so i searched up "muv" saw that muv-luv was on steam,

and it then got me thinking ""i recall getting a news update from here regarding the trilogy for the steam version that i backed""

    7. Joel Fox on June 17, 2016

So will we be getting Steam keys soon?

Thanks to Bou-sensei for his work, but I think the design he chose for the Marimo daki doesn't do justice at all to her. It just looks uninteresting compared to the other dakis.

@hi5dude2 From what I understand, IXTL actually owns Age, so the VR demo was made and published with their permission. Degica is responsible for this localisation project and also seems involved with publishing the demo on Steam.
I would probably add that the VR demo was made by an indie group on the steam page to help prevent confusion.

Why is the group making the VR demo, if they are not you guys, also calling themselves "IXTL"? that seems shady and misleading and I don't want to see anything bad happen to you guys because of it.

I wish I could go to Anime Expo, but sadly a plane ticket alone would cost me nearly all I have, don't even wanna think about how much a hotel would cost me.

      So, KimiNozo KS is coming?

They had to pick Saturday as the cosplay meetup.... the one day with all the big events scheduled.... fitting with that analogy I suppose, but unfortunate since I already have tickets for the others.

Ugh what a boring design for Marimo. Good thing I change to Sumika's design.
