We want to bring Mestre Urubu Malandro back to Seoul to lead workshops in Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Mestre Urubu is an accomplished percussionist with extensive knowledge of Brazillian rhythms, including Ijexa, Congo de Ouro, Barravento, Classic Samba, Afoxe, and the sacred rhythms of Candomble. He has played with the best Brazillian bands in the San Francisco Bay Area and is sought after as a studio musician, specializing in Afro-Brazilian percussion.

We plan to promote this event to the musically inclined in Seoul and capture, for posterity's sake, the music that we create. The funds that you provide will be used for marketing and promotion, any needed musical instruments, recording facilities, and to cover essentials, such as transportation. This time around we hope to do some really ground breaking and truly unique music. Please support this project.

The event will take place at our academy -

Location: 102-2 Goryeo Building [5th Floor] in Jongno, Jung-gu, Seoul

  Dates: August 4th - 7th 2011

Thank you for your donation!
