In Deities Domination, you are a God vying to rule Earth. Use your unique abilities to explore a modular map, expand your tribe, exploit the unique terrain and battle monsters. Impose your will on the world via benevolent and malevolent actions, and balance growing your own power against growing your tribe as you race against the other Gods in your quest for dominance.
Deities Domination in 90 Seconds
The game captures the fickle nature of the gods of ancient mythology. Be benevolent and allow your tribe to flourish, or malevolently strike down their resources and temporarily grow stronger through their fear. If you focus your capricious nature on opposing tribes, the effect is reversed. Malevolent actions against others weaken you, while benevolent actions towards others strengthen both Gods.
Each God's unique God Powers and Clan Abilities combine to determine their best strategy for achieving domination. The uniqueness of each Deities Domination play through is ensured by the modular map and the many possibilities for varied interaction between all the different Gods, making every game feel fresh and inimitable.
Every choice in Deities Domination matters. Players must constantly balance short term, immediate gains vs more slowly realized, sustained benefits. The game requires each player to carefully manage their own strategy while also combating the strategies of the other Gods. With multiple paths to victory, the game is balanced to give every God the ability to achieve domination.

I am an indie game developer. Like you, I love board games, and it was my passion for the hobby, coupled with an "A-ha!" moment of creativity, that motivated me to make my own game. I've meticulously crafted and refined each God power, tile, and rule by conducting hundreds of play tests. I spent nearly two years developing the game because I wanted to publish a game that I could be proud of. I'm confident that Deities Domination will give you the same thrill of the race and competitive rush of battling it out with your friends with every play through.
The companions in this journey. This game would not be here without the patience and honest feedback of a host of play testers. The enormous support and patience of my family and friends throughout the entire game development process, as well as the matter of fact criticism that I received from those in the board game community, helped build the game into the polished product it is today. Many strangers took to the game, playing it multiple times, and sharing an infectious desire for bringing it to life. A lot of them became good friends in the process. I want to bring the same excitement and enthusiasm to your table, so that you can also build your own memorable experiences.
Depth without overwhelming rules. One of the hardest, but most rewarding aspects of designing Deities Domination was making it easy to pick up and start playing while also incorporating great depth and strategy so that every play through is unique. By carefully listening to all of the feedback I received, I have structured the game to have straightforward rules while still delivering depth and replayability.
I want to share the development experience. Throughout the Kickstarter and beyond, I will seek your input for stretch goals, the introduction of new Gods, component upgrades, and more. I want you to have the same excitement that I have about bringing this game to life, so I will engage actively with you, addressing your comments and listening to your input. There is a lot of potential to expand the game, and I have many ideas to add even more exciting elements to the core game in the future, especially for more hardcore gamers.

Prototypes were constrained by the availability of colors and components from The Gamecrafter. The final colors of the game pieces will be selected to fit the theme and tone of the game. The first two stretch goals will both upgrade the card stock and enable us to create custom building shapes. Backers will be surveyed before we pick the final color scheme and component shapes.
Risks and challenges
As with any Kickstarter project, there are risks. Over the last two years, I have not only worked on the game, but also on understanding the process of launching and fulfilling the game. With my background in product management, learning from the extensive experiences of other game publishers, and building relationships with advisers, manufacturers, fulfillment centers, and freight forwarders, I have made every effort to document and address the process of launching the game before getting this project live. I have analyzed the potential financial impact of a future tariff on board games and have created plans to absorb the cost.
