WHAT IS MR. TEACHER AND PANDA?....
The Radically Ordinary Adventures of Mr. Teacher and Panda is like if Calvin and Hobbes were about the boring lives of adults. They do taxes, they go grocery shopping, they travel through time... usual everyday stuff.
The book is a collection of one-page jokes about the always angry Mr. Teacher and his best friend, a Panda. As dumb decisions build, each stand-alone joke starts to connect into one story, and by the end of Volume 1 we saw that come to fruition.
SUPPORT INDIE ARTISTS!
Each page is drawn by a different indie cartoonist. The vast majority of the money raised for the book goes right into paying these folks for their efforts. Some examples below!
We are Andrew Bratica and Mike Saver, two idiots from Boston who have spent the better part of the past five years tirelessly pumping out dry and dumb panda jokes. Thankfully, we're balanced out by a diverse array of talented artists who help bring this comic book about a guy and a panda to life.
MR. TEACHER AND PANDA RUIN TIME...
Without giving too much away, Mr. Teacher and Panda: Volume 2, The Sequel will be our best work yet. Combine the idiotic, mundane decisions of Mr. Teacher and Panda with a time machine, and you have Volume 2.
What would a world without planes look like and would it affect car insurance rates? What were Mr. Teacher and Panda like growing up? How would cavemen survive in modern times? What if the world were conquered in the Middle Ages by a Robot Monkey King? What if the Dinosaurs were never wiped out by a meteor?
All these questions and more will be answered...but we need your help.
We created the first Volume, Volume 1, over a slow drip period of 5 years. We released issue by issue until all six were collected. Volume 1 has been a great hit at comic cons and local comic book stores and now we're looking to speed up production by diving right into releasing Volume 2 as a full collection rather than Issue by Issue.
The vast majority of the money raised will go to paying each artist for their work, next to printing costs, then anything left towards comic cons to promote the book.
We aim to have Mr. Teacher and Panda: Volume 2, The Sequel ready for next Summer. The goal will be to release the full book in May 2020.
We're 7 days away with only $450 to go! To boost the Kickstarter we're offering the deal of a lifetime.

Risks and challenges
Since we use a wide variety of artists for the comic book, it tends to add a bit of unpredictability from a timeline perspective. Our goal is to release Volume 2 May 2020, but there is a potential risk that the art will not be ready in time.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
