On the subject of computerized board games, I've heard the obscure Infocom game "Fooblitzky" (1985) described as one, but I don't know for sure. I never played it (I didn't have a computer it would run on at the time, and I was more interested in their adventure games anway), and the game footage I've seen on YouTube doesn't really explain how the game works.

I still have a product catalog from 1988 which describes the game as "a unique graphics strategy game for 2 to 4 players", but that's also pretty vague.
