Frequently Asked Questions
ABSOLUTELY! We will ship anywhere in the world. The reward levels just include U.S. shipping because we were able to estimate that amount more easily. We've heard your concerns and will be adding a simple option to add international shipping right away! If you have questions in the meantime, please feel free to send a message!Last updated:
A longer video was scripted and planned, but the animator backed out of the project literally on the night of the Kickstarter launch. Disappointing! Rather than start over with a new artist, we are concentrating on improving rewards and communication through the KS page itself and other internet channels.
If there's demand for it, I will make a *stupid* video that people might nonetheless find amusing. >^,,,^<Last updated:
That will prevent one of our European friends from getting a crack at the Early Cat price. Be nice.Last updated:
Because that's the old name for it and once someone pledges, we can't change the name any more. You are free to think of this level as NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL APOCALYPSE instead.Last updated:
We're working on it! There have been many, many queries and comments and, while CALL OF CATTHULHU is my top priority, details of daily life have kept me from replying as quickly as I'd like. Today is Saturday, November 2, just four days into the campaign, and I'm working on getting new information out to everyone as quickly as possible.
Don't worry, I'm alive, and we appreciate your patience!Last updated:
CALL OF CATTHULHU is a stand-alone RPG with a very basic set of resolution rules, using no more than 3 six-sided dice. The special Cat Dice make it easier to resolve challenges but ordinary d6s can be used.
You play with pencil and paper in classic RPG style. One participant is the Cat Herder, arranging adventures and determining the outcome of player actions. The other characters play the role of ordinary cats, in a world where the other animals worship Chaotic gods who want to undermine human civilization and remake the world in a far less comfortable way.
The free Character Sheet is useful for recording the details of each character, but any blank paper will do. There's no game board and no parts required, just imagination!
A game takes two to three hours with 3 to 6 players. The same cat characters can be reused in further adventures, gaining experiences as they go, and encountering ever more dangerous manifestations of the Animal Gods and their sinister cults.
You can see the original CALL OF CATTHULHU basic rules on RPGNow.com, hosted courtesy of Faster Monkey Games:

Alas, a bit of confused text there! The $15 Pledge level "EARLY CAT BOOK: European Shipping!" gives the option to ship to Europe for an extra $10 -- that would be $25 total, or $30 to Europe.
In general, the old pledge tier descriptions have aged out of relevance slightly. Always check the Pledge Guide chart for answers, or feel free to message or comment any time!Last updated:
