48 hours ago Motor City Mo was settling in to his normal routine, drinking himself numb while trying (and failing) to commit suicide--typical Sunday night stuff.
That was before he met Dora.
Now, as tensions between Dollar Don and his rivals escalate, Mo finds himself distracted. His allegiance has been to Dollar Don for years--he's Don's fixer, his enforcer, he's Don's "guy" through thick and thin...
But Dora is unlike anyone Mo's ever met before. For the first time in a long time he's looking forward to tomorrow if it means another chance to see her.
We partnered with the most incredible team of artists in the world on Motor City Mo: Episode 1, and we were lucky enough to bring everyone back for Episode 2!
Our goal is to raise $2500 to cover the cost of art, printing and distribution.
$1500 - Art

Risks and challenges
We learned a lot during our first Kickstarter campaign--but we're not taking anything for granted. The campaign for Motor City Mo: Episode 2 comes with just as many risks and challenges as the first time around, if not more so.
The biggest challenge we face is deadline. We made a commitment to our donors and all Motor City Mo readers--as well as a personal goal for ourselves--that we would get Episode 2 out in December, 10 months after Episode 1 made its debut earlier this year.
Meeting that goal means having conversations with our team of amazing artists everyday, checking progress, shifting pages from the inking stage to the color stage, from colors to letters, and then ultimately prepping everything to go to print. There’s also the logistics challenge of, once Episode 2 is printed, getting it shipped, along with all of the other rewards, out to our donors as fast as possible.
As challenging as we anticipate this process to be, we’re ready for it. It took us five years to bring Mo’s story to life, and we plan to see it through to the end.
We hope you’ll join us on this journey.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
