Mothers of No Tomorrow intimately captures the range of emotions exhibited by three mothers who lost their children to violence.
Statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice confirm the magnitude of this genocide occuring on U.S. soil. When compared with casualty data from the most recent U.S. wars, 6,754 American soldiers were killed (including 2,019 soldiers in Afghanistan since 2001 and 4,735 soldiers in Iraq since 2003), yet during those nine and a half years of overseas combat, approximately 67,000 African-Americans were murdered on the home front. In fact, an average of almost 7,000 African-Americans are murdered annually.
Are we waiting for superman to stop the genocide or is the helping hand we need at the end of our collective arm? This documentary aims to give a tomorrow to future mothers.
