Risks and challenges
Our team has worked very hard to design the MOTA Wireless Charger for GoPro. Because we're ready to go into manufacturing, we believe there are significantly less risks compared to other products that still need work to be completed before they are manufactured in volume.
Although tooling is not a significant risk given our long history in manufacturing consumer electronics, there is always a possibility that delays could occur. Our manufacturing expertise and long-term relationships with trusted suppliers will help minimize this risk.
SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS
We have access to high-volume manufacturing facilities that will help ensure that we can quickly ramp up production for the MOTA Wireless Charger for GoPro. Nonetheless, all consumer electronic projects encounter some risks when transitioning production to final units. However, thanks to our 15 years of experience, we are able to minimize these risks by constructing and testing prototypes for adherence to design specs, reliability, and high-volume manufacturability.
Because we have long-established relationships with multimodal (land, sea, air) electronics shipping companies and with major consumer electronics distributors, we do not consider shipping distribution as special challenges. Some of the companies that we work with include Ingram Micro and New Age Electronics/SYNNEX.
Product Adjustments: As we approach production, there may be minor adjustments to improve the final product. Should they occur, the adjustments will always be for our backers’ benefit, and we will work diligently to minimize their effect on the production schedule.
