Happy Almost Saint Patrick's Day!

We had another great weekend of shows in St. Paul, MN. Minocqua, WI. Duluth-Superior and Lutsen, MN. We are so happy to have your support at the live shows, it fills us up!

To thank you for the support shown here and give you all the more reason to share with friends we'd like to share with you this live video from our show in Gold Hill, CO. back in January, 2012.

Leaving for Cobh is another song from the new cd, Gravity. Cobh is a southern port town in Ireland that is quite famous for being the transatlantic departure port for 2.5 million of the 6 million Irish people who emigrated to North America between 1848 and 1950 during what to us in the USA is known as the Irish Potato Famine and is more often referred to by those we met in Ireland as "the Hunger".  We were greatly taken by the stories we heard last fall in Ireland about this period and wrote this song during the tour.

In honor of Saint Patrick's Day, our Irish brothers and sisters and all of you we say thanks!

Be Happy,

James and Kort

Week 2 - A Live Video of Gravity!

Week two of this campaign has come to an end and we are happily approaching the $2,000 mark. Again we thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm. Please continue to send your friends to our Kickstarter page... Here

Our aim is $7,500 and we've got 30 days to get there.

All you wonderful people deserve a little taste of what is to come so we have posted a new video from a concert we did at the Gold Hill general store Jan 28th. This is the title track to the new cd. Gravity

Be well,

james and kort

"Walking in Memphis and we're off to a great start"

We've just returned from the International Folk Alliance conference in Memphis, TN. where we performed songs from Gravity for presenters of house concerts and festivals, record label execs and fellow artists. We drove away feeling good about the reception we received and grateful for the compliments of fellow artists and songwriters.

Our Kickstarter campaign was launched a week ago today and we've been excitedly watching its progress. Thanks to some familiar and some not so familiar names that we have seen coming in as donors we are nearly at 20% of our goal. Your support means the world to us and we look forward to sending you this cd and fulfilling any of the other rewards you have coming your way. If you would like to share this campaign with your friends and family I encourage you to send them to this link

Thanks, James and Kort
