This is Moon Loaf’s first production as a company and first performance at the Fringe. Whilst we’re as excited as Christ in a cattery, we’re also as nervous as a dog in a Crucifix shop (if anybody would like rewards for pledges in the form of confused and inane analogies then please do let us know).
The costs of taking a show to the Fringe are enough to make any dog question whether they have enough money to buy such a large ornament, or send any messiah running into the arms of kittens (this analogy is broken, creating a kickstarter is intimidating, we are rambling in fear).
Essentially, the Fringe is expensive and ANY small amount of money you could pledge to help us get there will be SO gratefully received. This project means a tremendous amount to us so even 50p will make us beam.
Edinburgh Festival 2019, ZOO, 12th-25th August, 8:05pm
“Holly has OCD. She thinks the Good Friday Agreement is the perfect example of a problem solved. Holly has been woefully misinformed”
A dark comedy about (amongst other things) living with ‘pure’ O.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES
Any money raised by your pledges will go towards paying the cost of the venue, transport to Edinburgh and somewhere to stay whilst the show is on. Our current budget is £7000 and we will be raising the rest of the funds ourselves.
Risks and challenges
It is of course a huge challenge taking a show up to Edinburgh, especially with no funding. But perhaps our willingness to lose all of our money in the process shows you that we’re committed to making this work. Or that we’re hell bent on self-destruction! You decide!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Have a wonderful summer be it in Edinburgh or no!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
