      @Ellusionist no, it won't make the rest of the main books out of date. Here's the info from the Numenera Discovery & Destiny Kickstarter campaign page:

      In Numenera Discovery, you’ll get some revisions to make things clearer and more fun, and to increase the options available to players. Nanos, Jacks, and Glaives will get an overhaul. Many foci and some of the descriptors might see some reworking. You’ll have more options, clearer rules, and perhaps a bit of expansion to the regions of the Steadfast and the Beyond that are covered in the existing corebook.
      But Numenera Discovery is not a new edition. We will make virtually no changes to the way the game plays mechanically—and none of those changes affect the way NPCs, creatures, or items like cyphers or artifacts work. We also won’t be making changes to the setting. So if you already play Numenera, your bestiaries, adventures, card decks, character portfolios, and books like Into the Night, Technology Compendium, and Jade Colossus will not be affected by these changes. We will not issue any “second editions” of the existing supporting titles—and if you choose not to get Numenera Discovery, future Numenera supplements will work fine with your existing Numenera corebook. Your ongoing campaign will flow smoothly through the change in corebooks. You will even be able to mix existing characters with those from Numenera Discovery into your game. In fact, the game can be played with both the existing corebook and Numenera Discovery in use at the same game table!

      I know most of what's in the Boxed Set, and 1st Edition, will work just fine and most of the content we have will be unchanged. However it would be great to have a new Boxed Set book/books containing updated old material and all the new material as well!

      @Peter Richard Brooks if you're referring to the Numenera 2 Kickstarter, keep in mind that it isn't a new edition, and the changes we're making won't affect the way NPCs, creatures, or items like cyphers or artifacts work.

      Experiencing Life: The Hideous Game was on the list of available glimmers for that reward, but you needed to select it to be one of your ten free glimmers.

      Question - did any SuperFan backers receive the glimmer The Hideous Game as part of their subscription. It was release during the time frame. However, this SuperFan Backer did not get it. :(

      To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed of Monte Cook and the campaign. As I have not received my order (THE RELIQUARY) yet, I contacted them (politely) 3 times for the last 8 weeks inquiring about the status of my order, put apart from the automatic generated response I've never heard a word. Even if they had just answered "hey, we are swamped right now, we will get back to you soon" would have been great.

      I got in touch with Tammie a while back about some damage to the box set. Since I'm in Australia replacements would cost a fortune in postage alone, so I negotiated some store credit.

      Yeah, I tried that when I stopped getting a response here. Haven't heard anything back from them either. I accept that the address error was my fault, and I'd be happy to pay any postage or shipping to get the materials out of my own pocket at this point, but it all seems to have gone quiet for me.

      It's a real pity, especially since I've backed for all the Into the Ninth World stuff, which isn't going to be so much use to me without a base Numbera set to use it with :S

      Hi, I accidentally had the wrong address set for my rewards and they were bumped back to sender. I've been asking privately for a while now if there is any way for to still get my rewards. Is there no-one listening to the private messages anymore?

      Has anybody tried to use the $10 voucher included in the boxed set? It's restricted to not be useable with any other offer, including the Superfan rewards - so you can't use it to discount any superfan postage or discount another item :(

      @Ryan - I'm a Superfan and an Into the Night backer. I just went ahead and ordered based on the Into the Night emails. I didn't have any issues with a prior overlap of the Ninth World Guidebook.

      FYI - superfans should be seeing emails soon for into the night.

      I just got my into the Ninth World KS emails (but not my Superfan ones yet).

      Also since I never saw anything in the backer kit about it, I shot Tammie an email about how the credit will work for the superfans that pledged to both - my guess is that it's going to be a bit more manual for the 200 or so of us (tops). I will share here if I get some info.

      I consider myself a fairly patient person. But since I still have not received anything, nor had any useful response after follow-up e-mails, I am starting to get disappointed in this entire campaign. I respect that you may have a small team working on this, but I think the least that should have happened, was to make sure people would get tracking numbers for their orders.

      Mine just arrived today after clearing everything up with customs. Total added price was 22 euro's :/.
      But the box arrived in perfect condition. And the new book smell when opening the box was bliss :). It looks amazing. i just checked everything, and the only remark i have is that in the art book, there seems to have been a sort of printing error, but there is a (fold)line running through a quarter of the pages. Nothing really serious, but it is the only remark i have.
      Awesome package, and it convinced me to invest in your next project :).

      Just went through the contents of my box yesterday and have to say I'm very impressed with what was delivered.

      One tip for including pencils into future projects. Please choose a mechanical pencil with an eraser...lol. even a space for an eraser would be nice. I thought it was a pen at first, but no.

      So that's my biggest grip, which is nothing really. Just a wierd design choice for a pencil. Haha

When the Box content says Glimmers of "Injecting the Weird" is that some of the book or all of it or just the "best" bits or a preview? Much Thanks. P.S All the maps in the box set are they some or all of the maps in Maps of the Ninth World 1 and/or 2. Thanks again.

      Despite a mail and reply from Tammie I have yet to receive either of my Reliquary Boxes or even word that they might be on the way. The latest update saying all but a few should be already received didn't help. I love Numenera and Monte Cook so I will continue to support them but...please get this sorted guys...their are always a few problem cases but being one of them does not make my hopes for my "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" pledge in your new KS as my boxes are as yet neither Signed , sealed or Delivered...once again PLEASE get this sorted out.

      Just picked up my Reliquary boxed set today from the German customs office. Just like @Elfwyn commented, the customs form was not filled out accurately so they flagged it and I had to drive there and pick it up.

      However since we paid for international shipping separately via the mc games website, I just showed my receipt there and they didn't ask for anything else, so I only paid 8,22 EUR customs tax (~19% of $47).

      However, as soon as I opened the box the glue on both sides fell apart immediately, which I can live with, but most of the +Reliquary stuff was also missing - it looks like I got the lower level contents, except oddly the signed art print was there.

      In any case I've already sent an email to support and I hope/expect them to take care of me, but just wanted to provide another data point.
