Hello Everyone!

The Campaign So Far!

The campaign has just edged over the £10,000 mark, and I am humbled by all of you backers for getting it there in such a short space of time! You are magnificent!

As you can see from my comparison graph below, this campaign (KS3 in yellow) is outperforming the previous two campaigns (KS1 in green and KS2 in blue) by quite some margin!

Inevitably, we have to hit the usual Kickstarter doldrums period, where pledges tail off until towards the end.

One way of stopping that is by broadcasting the signal on social media and forums. I've posted on a few forums where I can, but many forums don't like first posters mentioning Kickstarters, so if you are an active member of a group or forum and want to shout about this project, please, please do. It would be great to secure the funding goal at the earliest moment, and start blasting into stretch goals!!

Shout about the project from the rooftops!

Some Sneak Peeks

Anyway, enough of my KS campaign waffle and on to some juicy stuff...

Richard Marpole has submitted his wonderful story and we are onto the last minor revisions of it as of yesterday. The short story (8,000 words) follows the Gardeners of Walshale as they seek out some banquet ingredients in the sewers. It is intended to provide a bit of colour to the sewers beneath the city.

I wont spoil too much, but I will say Pig-newts!

The sewers are a dangerous place in the city, and not many people go down there if they can help it -- even to unblock it.

Here's a blow up of part of the sewer map showing tunnels, chambers, access and egress point (they name the chambers, so that the city sewer workers know where they mean when talking), also with the key/legends that support the map:

Whilst the sewer network is detailed, it is not the extent of all mapped tunnels, so a GM can add in extra unmapped tunnels, entrances to old catacombs, and even the Upper Middergloom.

Watch out for the Pig-newts and other unmentionable horrors down there!
