@James - sorry if there was anything unclear in our pledge levels. From the start of our campaign we anticipated Photo Cases to be ready before Battery Cases and our shipping estimates for each backer level reflected this. Early ship Photo Cases, followed by Standard ship Photo Cases, followed by Early ship Battery Cases, followed by Standard ship Battery Cases. The battery cases have a lot of complex electrical components and have to be certified by Apple in order for us to sell them. These things take a bit more time than the Photo Case which is what we accounted for in our campaign. We haven't intentionally been vague in our timelines as there are a lot of factors that can impact when items get shipped and we always try to avoid overpromising as it becomes a big pain point.

Reality is, a lot of small/medium sized companies, such as probably Moment, use it a marketing/store platform, and do not really need all the backers to get their product out. I'd recommend being more conservative in using this comment.
I am personally not overly disappointed, but can understand the people having trips, and not getting these in times. Must had though, it was to be expected.
I do not think Moment has messed up or anything, however I do feel they know better the timeline, and are being vague on purpose. I also think that their lack of communication for a couple of months, prior to that last update was a bit unfair. That is all.

@James Partridge Kickstarter is NOT a store. Things here have NOT even been made yet. The dates given in a campaign for when things will ship are only estimates. Lots of things can cause delays once things finally go into production. I have backed a project before that didn't end up shipping until a year after the the original estimated date. There have also been many kickstarter projects that never ship at all. So Moment shipping a few weeks late is really no big deal.
Bummer. Believing that a battery case and Moment lenses would be the ideal companion for the wilderness camping trip in the Grand Tetons I had scheduled in early July. Since the case and lens were slated to ship in June and Moment had a good reputation, I enthusiastically backed this project. Now I find I won't even get my survey until late June. Adding insult to injury, non-early backers who ordered regular cases will have received their surveys weeks earlier. And, presumably, they'll get their orders fulfilled before the early backers as well. To say I'm disappointed is a momentous understatement.
@Moment - I send you a email and the response I got was that I'll get my survey at the end of June. However, I'm an early backer (#159 to be exact) for the 7+ Photo Case which means I should have already received it. Please look into this.
@Esther - We expect to be shipping those in the next few weeks so we hope you will get it in time for your trip!

Battery Case Backers - We'll be sending out your survey closer to the ship date for your pledge. Early backers will get their pledges first followed by standard backers.

backed it early as well still did not get a survey and I'm pretty much out of the country in 4 days, This is an invaluable lesson for myself with Kickstarter stuff early doesn't exactly mean it'll happen. So I won't be able to use moment lens to take pictures in Iceland which blows beyond belief but nothing i can do about it so i'll just wait.
