For Shell Game, I'll create 9 giant paintings about the world financial meltdown, then have a gallery show in a faux gambling parlor

Opening + Shell Game Prints for Sale

the beautiful Stoya at Shell Game backers opening

SHELL GAME opened to the public this weekend.  We had three packed to the rafters nights.  Hundreds and hundreds of people saw the art.  Kim Boekbinder sang. Stoya lazed in a bathtub of money.  I kind of choked up giving a thank you speech. It was more love, more glamor, more everything than I ever could have hoped

And it was all because of you

This could not have happened without you. Not in the bullshit sense.  Literarlly.  This show is because of your support, because you believed in me, believe in the promise of my art, and showed that in concrete ways.

Thank you

Also, I loved meeting so many of you at the backer's opening!  Folks flew out from Scotland, Mexico City, and all over America. I was humbled, honored, and fuck are you a fascinating bunch!  Thank you for coming out to see the work in person.

Now that the show's opened, you'll be getting your backers surveys in the next few days and we can start shipping out packages.  We have 350+ orders to send, so we beg your patience with this.

Also, while we won't be selling prints of the paintings, we are selling prints of the watercolours.  If you want one, go HERE

I'll be putting up more pictures from the openings soon, but now, bed and cookies call

I wish I hadn't been so bushed from a video shoot earlier in the day; I would've loved to go to this.
