Hello kickstarters! Thanks for taking the time to view my very first kickstarter campaign, "Headphones by MOL3CH"! I am really excited to have finished this series of custom headphones, and really need YOUR help to get things swinging into full production!
I've been crafting custom headphones for musicians (mostly drummers) and DJs for a few years now. I literally started out by giving stock headphones a new paint job and some 'flair"... spikes. These days I build each unit from scratch (while implementing as much recycled media as possible) and customize my headphones from design, wiring, and finished paint job (using automotive quality paints). The quality and range of sound from these unique headphones are amazing, and the showroom finish paint and massive spike arrays added to each set.. are just plain wicked!
Why KICKSTARTER?
Custom built speakers, custom wiring, custom logos, custom paint.. check.
What I'd REALLY like to do is custom molding -I have designed nearly 30 custom molds, and am in DESPERATE need of a 3D Printing solution. If my goal is exceeded, I will reveal some of the custom molds, and will likely offer a new pledge tier for those new models as well!
Please note also that the Masochist, Gamerz, Nemesis, Doomsday, and Mechtronic DJ models are all KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVES! The only headphones that will be sold in the future on MOL3CH.com are the ones built from the 3D printer that YOU are helping us to acquire!
Incentives
I have created many great reward tiers for this project, and am considering having STRETCH GOALS to unlock (depending upon how quickly the initial goal is realized). Together I feel that we can get these great headphones (and awesome works of art) into your hands and onto your ears!

Risks and challenges
I have assembled a great development team (19 people and growing) to be able to meet the deadlines projected and have the resources to facilitate MORE outside help should the need arise... (from $10,000 to $1,000,000 in pledges!) We have also acquired a manufacturing facility here in Illinois, and are ready to get to work!
I am wholly devoted to this project, and even have a plan to start immediate production of these bad boys BEFORE funding has ended (provided that the goal has been met).
The sooner the goal is reached... the sooner mass production can begin!
