Update #11 - How it's made
Hello Wonderful Backers,
The Last Week
We’re now on our last week. We’ve just got a few short days left to get the word out if we want to hit our stretch goals, which we think you all want as badly as we do. Please, share the project on your social media of choice. You can always follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook if you want easy posts to retweet or share.
We're including an image showing the top places our backers are coming from. We can’t do much to affect many of those, but we can get more traffic from Facebook & Twitter. We’re basically tweet vampires, subsisting off nutritious Twitter traffic and Facebook shares.
We also have a cool new video that Chad has put together detailing the stages that go into making one of the environments like you’ve seen in the trailer. We’re embedding the video, and you can read more about it on our dev blog.
Meanwhile, on the internet...
We continue to be featured in assorted media. Forrest recently appeared as a guest on the Midkick Coffee Break podcast on Kaijupop. You can listen here.
We also did an AMA on Reddit, which you can read here. It’s packed with info about us and the game. Curious what our favorite Oreo or Sam Adams brews are? Answers to those questions and more are just beyond that link.
The fine folks behind the Dicetiny Kickstarter recently got in touch with us. They sent along a sweet picture:
They wanted to know if we’d be OK with Scout & Aesop appearing in their game. The answer was of course, YES! It’s awesome to see another artist’s take on our character, and we’re really excited to see Scout showing up in another game. If you think this is as cool as we do, go take a look at their campaign. They just have a few days left, and still have a little ways to go before they hit their goal.
Thank you all again so much for backing. We’re amazed to see that well over 6,000 people are helping us make this game a reality, and have been elated with the response. We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you, and can’t wait to keep showing you more as we continue development.
