I am, quite frankly, insulted that I have been offered a refund with reason being that I am in a group of "trolls" for posting somewhat regularly and expressing my dissatisfaction with the state of this product. I will mull over the prospect of this refund, but I am not particularly inclined seeing that I am only being offered a refund to end my entirely legitimate criticisms.

I don't copy and paste things like some of the others. What I do is post well meaning questions intending to bring transparency to this project and also to call out when MMV is being deliberately deceptive to backers.

To be honest, I want this product to some degree, but I'm not so keen about such backhanded measures. You should have politely offered refunds to EVERY backer, not just begrudgingly trying to "quiet" anything other than the most positive of posts, which are generated soley by the creator at this point.

Nothing you have done in any step of this project has been satisfactory and it has become increasingly more frustrating to watch this endless train wreck play out. I'm almost entirely apathetic. I might take the refund and leave, but honestly I feel like SOMEONE must hold you accountable for all of these points of failure along the way.

I don't know what to say anymore MMV. I'll be watching this comment page until I decide what I want to do and I'm not afraid to call you out even if you may make me out to be a "troll." The other backers and I are more informed than you'd like to believe.

    2. ACH on February 19, 2016

I also never was "sanctioned", and in fact I never had a single comment removed. Yet, I received a refund. The cynic in me would say that Christopher Price is trying to slander me.

Oh, and by the way I have never been banned by Kickstarter. If pointing out valid doubts with reasonable tone is called a violation of TOS, I think NOT allowing people freely expressing their views, especially on the comment wall paid by their money, would be unconstitutional, in many countries probably. So in that sense, I would say no one is banned, just a few of us are given hush money, to get us stay away from this comment wall.

    6. Mobile Media Ventures, Inc. Creator on February 19, 2016

This is an automated reply. We unfortunately may have to post this throughout the weekend, as a select group have committed to a "reply war" wherein they will post the same comments again and again.

If we do not reply, you won't see our side of the story - which their intention is to bury our response, with their canned comments. We regret this sincerely.

On Friday, Kickstarter agreed to ban 13 inflammatory backers that account for a majority of the posts on our comment wall. The majority of them have been cited by Kickstarter multiple times for violating Community Guidelines.

We cannot properly support other backers with Console OS Lollipop - which we are ready to ship, until they are removed.

Regretfully, the team that actually removes backers at Kickstarter in these circumstances, has informed us they may not process it until Monday. This is not the first time we have had difficulty with Kickstarter on matters like this. Delayed action on matters like this is not helpful to us, or to you our backers.

Console OS Lollipop will ship shortly after Kickstarter completes the removal of these backers. This decision was not taken lightly, and came after hours of discussion with Kickstarter's integrity team. While we do not believe we are required, we did issue these backers a refund as a courtesy - and to expedite this. We do not anticipate doing that much in the future, we will instead ask Kickstarter to ban trolls without a refund.

We are excited to be shipping Console OS Lollipop once this matter is resolved. That may now stretch into next week, because of this, but we're excited that we can make it happen! We are committed to making Console OS the best distribution of Android for PCs.

So your backers are trolls, Intel is the one who delayed your project and you are "banning" people who point out valid doubts when you never delivered after, oh, one year and a half? What is your role in all this? Copy and paste code and rebranding? Wow I am happy to see the refund but contribute hard earned money then in return being called troll is not something I would call great customer service

    10. Mobile Media Ventures, Inc. Creator on February 19, 2016

@Jason - We only called backers that violated Kickstarter Community Guidelines "trolls" - those are people that have been sanctioned by Kickstarter in the past.

We welcome constructive criticism, and we are excited to be shipping Console OS Lollipop as soon as Kickstarter resolves purging these trolls, which they now expect to do Monday.

and is it a surprise to anyone that lollipop is delayed... again? and of course it's other people's fault right? now who didn't see that coming?

    18. Mobile Media Ventures, Inc. Creator on February 19, 2016

@Jason - We're excited to be shipping Console OS Lollipop. Refunding backers hurts other backers. We made one limited exception to 13 people, for which Kickstarter has regretfully delayed processing on their end to Monday.

Please respect our efforts to deliver. We don't call backers "pathetic" - we ask you refrain from it too.

      @ Creator.
So, you're saying your "side of the story" is that the latest delay is not "upstream" drivers, or the fault of Intel, or Android-AI, etc. It is now the fault of 13 backers (or trolls, as you call us), who - from my perspective - have simply attempted to communicate with the person who sold all of us ConsoleOS PRO (for me and a friend!)?????

Seriously? That's going to be your reason for the delay now? Pathetic

Based on your own comments below, you have enough money to attempt to silence the those who continually raise valid points, ask valid questions. All of your repLIES are filled with nonsensical schwing. So, when you realize you can't bury their comments, and they're getting organized - you try to buy them off for a few hundred dollars?

How is it that my pledge is non-refundable, and some others are?

@pk - We did support those devices. In the Q&A we clearly said our first release would support most target devices. It did. Mid-development Intel failed to deliver committed release targets of Android-IA for PC.

You do understand what a can of worms you have opened. By your own admission you hoped that Kickstarter would ban these people straight away, therefore not allowing them to post and tell others what you had done.

      That went well, didn't it.

Now you are in a deeper hole than you were before. Man up, admit you were overambitious, apologize and move on. But your ego can't let you do that, right. So you just keep pushing that barrow full of excretement, and we will keep pointing out the facts

    46. Mobile Media Ventures, Inc. Creator on February 19, 2016
