After 5 seasons and 50 episodes, we're putting together a DVD multi-disc set for fans and newcomers of the series alike.
The Living in 8 Bits DVD multi-disc set will include:

Manufacturing DVDs are expensive and we simply do not have the available means to mass produce this DVD ourselves, especially a multi-disc set. This is where you come in. By pledging, you will guarantee yourself a copy of the Living in 8 Bits DVD as well as help fund our efforts and other Mixed Nuts Productions projects. We cannot produce this DVD set without hitting our goal!
For die hard Living in 8 Bits fans, we are offering a slew of backer perks.
Fans have asked us about getting a Living in 8 Bits T-Shirt and now here is your opportunity at a $45 level!
We also helped co-produce the web series Nerd vs Geek with our sister company Cinevore Studios. Our $60 level includes a Nerd vs Geek DVD with your Living in 8 Bits DVD and T-Shirt!

Risks and challenges
With any creative project, there are risks. Even something as simple as authoring and producing DVDs can be problematic. Will it be produced on time? Will it play in all players? Will it be worth the investment on your part?
These DVDs will be professionally duplicated, meaning we will not be burning them one by one on our own computers in a sweat shop production line style (though the images of us doing so does seem humorous). Replication houses charge nearly the same for 100 copies as 1,000, so the goal set is just to cover the minimal cost to make the DVD manufacturing possible.
We are professional filmmakers first and foremost. We have authored and produced professional DVDs before with no complaints. We have professional editing, authoring, and burning software. This is what we do for a living. Our goal is to put out an awesome and vast DVD set to appeal to all fans whether they be newcomers, casual, or die hards.
Is it worth it? If you like our show, like what we do, and want to see more and go more in depth, then absolutely! Along with all the episodes, we have gone to great lengths to give you the most in depth behind the scenes content possible. Each episode includes a commentary track by members of the cast and crew. There will be hours of never before seen material.
But most of all, the real treat will be the feature length documentary Filming in 8 Bits. This documentary is already in production and will provide the most in depth behind the scenes look at the series that has never been seen before. It will appeal to fans of the series and fans of filmmaking in general, finding out the stories, struggles, laughs, and tribulations that goes into producing an independent film project.
THANK YOU ALL for being fans of the show! Even if you can't support us monetarily, give us a share on social media or to a friend and help spread the word around!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
