About this project
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The story is based on 2 brothers who were both saved at a young age, but as the boys grew older, the eldest began to slip away from his relationship with the Lord, while his younger brother’s relationship with the Lord only grew stronger! When a missionary visits their Church inquiring for aid over the summer, inner motives are challenged and we will see a clear contrast between a believer who has an active relationship with his Lord and one who does not.
Topped off with a very compelling ending that is sure to strike a very convicting tone in the hearts of unbelievers and believers alike: we can never do too much for Christ!
The project will be a 35 to 50 minute Feature and will be filmed in June.WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of young Christian film-makers based out of Cleveland, OH. We have a wide array of maturing talents that we continually strive to advance.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Pledges of any size are greatly appreciated. And equally important as pledging money is helping us to spread the word about our Kickstarter campaign. Please take a minute or two to use the tools on this page (located above under the video) to share the link on Facebook, Twitter, your blogs, your email list. Spread the word to your family, your friends, your church, and your coworkers. We can't do it without you.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
First off, Kickstarter and Amazon take about 8-10% off the top. After that, we will use the money for various things like memory cards, dozens of batteries, food for a hungry cast and crew, a new lens, and distribution materials, not to mention money to compose our own original score! And various other items that blow this film out of the water!
WHAT IF I WANT TO HELP, BUT CAN’T PLEDGE FINANCIALLY?
I completely understand. You can help me just by posting this Kickstarter page on the social network of your choosing to raise the general awareness of this project. This will help me incredibly!
Q: When will NEVER TOO MUCH be released?
Our goal is to have the film completed by the end November, 2012.
Q: Can we exceed the goal?
YES! In fact, if we exceed our initial goal of $2,500 we can keep raising even more money for the project!
Q: Where does the money go?
Every penny of the pledged funds (minus the fees that Kickstarter charges for their involvement) will go towards the production and promotion of the film. Any additional funds received will be used to improve the quality of the project.
Q: What happens if the money isn't raised in time?
Unfortunately nothing. If our goal isn't met before the deadline, no money changes hands and no incentives are given. We want to avoid this scenario at all cost!
Q: How can I contact you?
Great question! You can email us directly at Mitchellartsfilms@gmail.com. We'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: When will I receive the rewards? All incentives, big and small, will only be given if our goal is met prior to our deadline. If we do meet our goal, you will receive your incentives by November 2012.
Q: How will you get my T-shirt size?
Once our fundraising deadline passes, and if our goal is met you will get a message from us requesting information from you like your T-shirt size, address, etc.
If you are a believer, we’d like to ask you not just to support us financially but also pray that the message of finding our identity and justification in Christ would shine through strongly in the film and in the lives of those who are producing it.
P.S. - To our secular friends
We are asking for your support to produce an great movie. Our goal is to strive to make films that are artistically and technically excellent. We would be honored by your support and wish to honor you by respectfully presenting the notion that you were designed for a relationship with your Creator.
We've set the bar high this time, because we know with faith, with God's help through your willingness to give, and through prayer, we can do this!
