About this project
MISSION DENIM is...
- Premium Quality, Handcrafted Jeans. Our jeans are made by hand in the U.S. using revived vintage machines and traditional methods to produce the highest quality. We use raw selvedge denim from only the best mills, starting with Cone.
- Delivered At Wholesale Prices. Our jeans would traditionally retail for over $200, but we're offering them on Kickstarter at half the price. By cutting out the middlemen, we can deliver awesome value directly to the consumer.
- The MISSION 100% Quality Guarantee. We stand by the quality of our products with our MISSION 100% Quality Guarantee. If you receive the jeans and find any defects in the materials or workmanship, just send them back and the return is on us.
We started MISSION Denim to provide high quality jeans directly to consumers at wholesale prices. We were frustrated by the traditional retail model, which is dominated by mass-manufactured, low quality denim, and inflated prices. With backgrounds in both fashion and tech, we knew we could do better. By reviving old machines, restoring traditional methods, and selling directly to the customer, we are able to offer the highest quality jeans at revolutionary prices.
We only use premium raw selvedge denim from the finest mills in the world. Selvedge refers to the way the fabric is made on old-world style shuttle looms, using one long continuous thread. This produces beautiful denim with clean, unfrayed edges that are visible if you cuff your jeans. By only using premium raw selvedge, our jeans are designed to age with you and get better over time, as great products should. We started our campaign with two core American fabrics from Cone Mills White Oak.
THE CLASSIC FIT: Our signature Classic fit is designed to provide slightly more room in the leg and thighs.
THE SLIM FIT: Our signature Slim fit has a slimmer, tailored look for those who typically wear slim-fit shirts and pants.

Risks and challenges
We've also worked with our suppliers in the past, so we have a solid working relationship as we ramp up operations. One of our biggest risks is timing, as potential delays could come from our vendors, suppliers, and partners. It also includes risks from the shipping process as we rely on USPS and FedEx for the final leg of the journey from our factory to your home.
We aim to minimize delays by sending out our survey to get your orders immediately after the campaign ends, and placing our orders for our materials and trims early. If we run into any issues along the way, we will make sure to keep our backers aware with updates. We're going to do our best to get your jeans to you in a prompt manner, while keeping the high quality level in making a great product that we hope you'll love.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
To order multiple jeans, just add the additional amount for the other jeans to your pledge.
When you make a pledge on Kickstarter, the only thing that you have to do is specify the amount of the pledge, the reward level, and your payment details. After the campaign ends on July 4th, we will email you a survey to get your order and shipping details.
For U.S. customers, our prices include free shipping. For international customers, there is an additional shipping fee for each of the rewards to cover the extra shipping and handling cost. Please note that international customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees that may apply to receiving their order. Note that once we ship an order, we will provide the tracking number and it is the customer's responsibility to receive the package (such as picking-it up, request redelivery, etc.).
Yes, we are happy to accommodate orders of any size. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
