Have a question?
@Jen, it's on sale at our website and Amazon and local retailers... are you saying your copy has tracking that says it got lost? If so we'll replace it. If your tracking says it was delivered but you still can't find it, contact use directly and we'll work something out.
Is there a way to order Chain Reaction? I never received my copy and my post office couldn't find it. Thanks!
Ok thanks for the clarifications. The half points isn't what was throwing me off. The opening text at the top of the rules says whoever builds the most bombs is the winner and the first sentence of the second paragraph of the winning section of the rules says score is equal to bomb cards and loaded cards played.
I was taking that as one point per completed card and the points to end the game were just as a time limit and scoring was different.
Which led me to think that someone may go for 2 big bombs to end the game but the other player built 3 or 4 smaller bombs and win for having more bombs completed.
Scoring is best done as bomb points + loaded points + .5 per uranium and then use yellowcake as a tie breaker. That may not be exactly what it says in the rulebook but it's better to do it this way. I was worried about having .5 points in the game/rules and so the rulebook doesn't do it that way. But it's the best way so feel free to use that as I'm the designer :)
Is the final scoring:
most points from bottom of bomb cards added with 1/2 of uranium
1 point per bomb card/loaded card and 1/2 of uranium
Most video play throughs say the first way or first to 10. But how I have interpreted the rules and the flavor text at the top of the rules, it sounds like the latter.
I have a stupid question regarding the wood bits. Are they meant to replace the Yellow cake and Uranium cards? Yellow being yellow cake and Red being uranium?
It took a looooong time, but everything is OK now.
Brazilian backer here. My Deluxe Edition arrived today!
They are just standard MTG size cards so 3.5" x 2.5"
I want to sleeve my cards . The sleeves i have are either too small or too large .Any help as to a seller and the proper size for sleeving my cards ? Thx .
My Deluxe Edition arrived damaged. The flimsy packing box was crushed. Which is how I feel now. :-(
sorry to say i still haven't receive my game , Tuck Box edition, ( France/ Brest ),
no game, no tracking number, no postage notice ...
Darren, As mentioned in the updates and comments... it should be there by now. Check with your customs office as they sometimes hold packages for import fees and don't always tell you. Any more questions contact our shipper: email@example.com
In Vancouver, Canada and still have not received my copy. Should I expect it soon?
Thanks Danimal13 - keep in mind if they want the wooden bits we have limited quantities that can be bought direct at our website. If they buy at the store there will be no wood bits.
Recommending it to friends to pick up, the wood bits are just extra nice
Thanks jerad! Played today at lunch. First game was OK, second game clicked and can't wait to play it again
@Danimal13 - I used Mayday "almost a penny sleeves", "2 5/8 x 3 5/8" 100-pack. I didn't sleeve the yellow cake / uranium cards, since they aren't used. the sleeves seem ok.
got mine in canada
what sleeves are folks using to fit in the deluxe box

"seek you, seek you..."
here Rome, Italy, all uranium and yellowcake, all engineers, scientists and laborers, and, aboveall, all bomb designs have just arrived.
thanks a lot.
@Michael, yes all backers were sent a link to download the game from WarGameVault. If you can't find your link, then PM me.
@Tom, Yes soon as you draw from the factory they are in your hand and you can play them. Yes you still need all the normal inputs. If you don't play them you have at the end of your turn the choice to discard them or keep them and then draw back to your 5 card limit. Yes if you draw another factory card and have the input you can play another.
I have a couple of questions about gameplay that I'm unclear about (mainly factory cards).
So you can play the cards you draw immediatedly, do they need still need the inputs? What happens to the cards if you don't play them?
If you draw a factory card can you play it again?
Just received mine and love it - is it possible to download the pnp version as a normal backer, i would love to have a spare game in my car.
"The Gadget" has been received in Ontario, Canada.... safe and sound :)
My game arrived in Australia last night. Congratulations on a successful campaign! It presents and packs very well. Unfortunately for me it will be a few weeks before I can play it with my usual crew
Deluxe arrived to Finland, cheers!
Australia, still awaiting the arrival of my depuxe copy. Hope it's not one of the stuff ups
Got my deluxe copy in Sweden today. Unpacked, sleeved and ready to be used instead of the PnP.
I really loved the wooden pieces.
Got my copy in Germany today :)
Yeah, got my copy in Germany. Thank you so much Minion Games. :)
My copy was waiting for me when I got home from work tonight.
The corner of the package was a little chewed up, and the delivery van was still out the front.
Damned drop bears, but that's Australia for you;)
Just got my game in Belgium.
Still waiting for mine too, in Finland. It's about 6 days since I got the email with (faulty) tracking number. Any Finns who got theirs already?
Still waiting for mine, but just a quick note: packages sent via USPS/Endicia seem to be prone to tracking number scrambling - I've had numerous notifications with apparently non-existent tracking numbers. In any case the packages arrived anyway, it just takes time...and Customs feeling like doing some work ;-)
The only package gone AWOL so far was a messed up address and for that Excel's CSV import filter is to blame - or rather it's inability to handle UTF8 letters. So no extended chars is my address anymore. Looking forward to getting my hands on the game :-)
