I hope everything is going well with you. I must say, that we had an exciting end, and I'm not just saying that because it was my project. If you told me we would have ended up over $150k a week ago, I would have laughed it off. Absolutely amazing stuff. I really can't express my gratitude enough. I'm baffled.

The Pledge Manager

Oh, man, have I been getting a lot of emails about this since the project ended. You don't need to message me about failed payments, your address or anything else right now.  Please read the rest of this message carefully, as there is a lot of important information in it.

Over the next 2 weeks, Kickstarter is going to be processing all your payments. Kickstarter allows about a week for people to fix their failed payment issues, during which Kickstarter will periodically attempt to run your payment again. So if you do run into a payment problem, just figure it out, and Kickstarter will automatically take care of it. After all of the payment stuff is worked out, Kickstarter will deposit the funds into my account and allow me to download a backer report. I will then be able to transfer your pledge information to pledgemanager.com. I’ll post another update when we get to this point, but you will get an email as well. Your Pledge Manager account will be based on the email that you have on file with Kickstarter, so if you need to change it, go to the “account tab” on the setting page of Kickstarter. We will also user your email address from Kickstarter to send out the PNP files when they are ready so make sure it’s right.

So in a few weeks you’ll get this email that will direct you to your own personal pledge manager for the project. If you see the Pledge Manager launch update and do not get an email, then you can message me and we'll figure it out. The Pledge Manager will let you:

  • Input your shipping address
  • Upgrade your Pledge
  • Vote on the Community Apocalypse
  • Add additional products to your pledge (play mats, extra copies, etc)

Please note that if you added extra money for add-ons in Kickstarter, that money will transfer over to the pledge manager as a credit, so you won't have to pay again. None of your money will disappear.

It is very important to take care of the pledge manager in a timely fashion. I will be using the information to accurately estimate orders of not only the games we need to produce, but also the Kickstarter exclusive add-ons, promo cards, etc. As I’ve stated from the very beginning, our goal is to get you an excellent game as soon as possible. We don’t want you to wait a year to play Maximum Apocalypse, so don’t take 8 weeks to fill out your survey/pledge manager.

Production Schedule

Here is a general outline of our schedule over the next few months. Keep in mind that this is only an estimate and will change over the coming months:

  • Pledge Manager launches: On or before May 22nd 
  • May 2017: Mechanic and Gunslinger artwork is completed 
  • May 2017: Rulebook and Mission Card PDF drafts shared for backer comment and feedback 
  • June 2017: Alpha Copies enter production (as soon as pledge manager surveys are completed) 
  • June 2017: Community Apocalypse is announced based on votes 
  • June 2017: Artwork for Expansion is completed 
  • July 2017: Alpha Playtesters receive copies and provide final feedback 
  • July 2017: Final Production files sent to printer. Final PNP files sent out to backers. 
  • July 2017: Art Production starts on future expansions 
  • August 2017: GenCon!

      Sounds Great, and if the time line is right we should see this early fall. Looking forward to this solo game.

      @Bryan: Mike mentioned that he put the Kickstarter estimate intentionally far out as a hopefully worst case scenario, but he'll try to get the game out far earlier than that.

      So the rewards page shows May 2018, but your timeline makes it seem like it's going to hit a lot sooner than that. Are we going to see this shipped out in the fall?
