One Week Left! FAQ update and Survivor Spotlight: Gunslinger
We are approaching our 75k Stretch Goal, which means the Scientist expansion is almost part of this Kickstarter. I thought it was a good time to answer a few questions that seem relevant to stretch goals and the end of the campaign:
Will we be using a Pledge Manager?
Yes, we will be using a pledge manager. We will announce when it is up and running after the campaign via an update and you'll likely get an email about it as well.
Can I make a late pledge or preorder the game after the campaign is over?
As long as you back this project for at least $1 you will have access to the pledge manager which will let you purchase additional items. You will be treated like any other Kickstarter backer. Late pledging will NOT count toward Stretch Goals. Late Pledging will have a small grace period before a price increase to accommodate people's budgets i.e. you will not be able to late pledge 6 months from now.
We will also have a preorder system up after the campaign. Preorders will not have the same pricing and shipping subsidy as Kickstarter backers so it will be more expensive. Expect the price to increase over time to approach it's MSRP.
Will preorders come with all the stretch goals?
No, everything that is marked as a Kickstarter Bonus or Exclusive will have to be purchased separately. If you want the extra goodies, you should back now!
Will you increase the box for the play mats to fit in?
No, while the final box size may change slightly our rendering is representative of what we are aiming for. Box size is a tough thing and this post is 100% accurate. A smaller box keeps our costs down with manufacturing and shipping.
Can we hit more Stretch Goals?
We definitely can hit more stretch goals. We are ahead of a designer friend of mine who broke $100k and was at $68k with 72 hours to go. I have a BGG takeover ad hitting this Saturday on International Tabletop Day but we'll need your help for the rest:
Please mention the Maximum Apocalypse campaign in forums, facebook posts, or other social media as much as possible. Keep up all the links to Kicktraq and BGG - that's what's kept up our momentum throughout and has been amazing! The best posts get people talking about the game and you guys are already great at this judging by our comments section. Tell people why you backed the game and what it is all about:
- 1-6 Player Cooperative Adventure Game
- Different Player Classes
- Modular Board
- Simple Game Mechanics, Strong Strategic Gameplay
- Epic Story-driven Post Apocalyptic Setting
- Amazing Art
We appreciate the trust that you all have put in our small team, we can't wait to close this campaign out and put the final touches on Maximum Apocalypse! Thank you so much for your support!
Survivor Spotlight: Gunslinger
The Gunslinger is a natural leader and one of the highest and most versatile damage dealers available. He is extremely powerful with his revolver loaded up with hollow points. Of course, he relies heavily on ammunition to do everything so if he runs out of bullets he also runs out of ways to fight monsters.
The Gunslinger isn’t all about guns though. He can increase his movement by hopping on a horse and can potentially find a lot of useful resources using his “Loot the Bodies” action.
