New Stretch Goal: That Scavenge Location is Empty

Posted by Mike Gnade (Creator)

Yesterday, we surpassed the total of the first Maximum Kickstarter which is absolutely incredible!  We have just over a week left and we saved a lot of our advertising budget for these final days so hopefully with your help we can start unlocking these new daily unveiled goals.

There has been a lot of talk about how scavenging is too easy... we've already addressed this a bit with the 1 rule change since the core set, but this goal will make scavenging even harder.  This stretch goal will unlock new empty handed cards that you can add to any scenario to make them even harder.  The new Empty Handed cards will act the same but also tell you to place a token on the location marking that location as "Empty".  This token will cover up the scavenge icon on the tile symbolizing that you can no longer take the scavenge action at that location.

I never had the „scavenge is too easy“ problem and consider it absurd to take countermeasures to a overly constructed issue.

Can only scavenge on the same tile once per turn.

I really like the new scavenge card idea and the blocking of the scavenge tile - great idea!

Out of interest what was the rules swap on scavenging? Must have missed that one.

Yeah, I'm happy to see some of the ideas from bgg sneak in the game :D

No longer allowing the search of a tile is really a great idea. Thanks Mike

Tbh I still need to find time to play my first game but I'm glad to see the Scavenge option added. I can now switch difficulty between playing family friendly or go for the more hard core version with game friends.

      NIce idea :)
still a bit sad that the 200.000 sg was not a big thing like a new apo or a new character but glad it is a good idea.
Maybe the last big Sg wil be for 250.000
