We're back from PAX East!
I drove back from PAX East yesterday morning and went to bed early so I could get up and get back to work. I'm still working on catching up on a bunch of emails, but I wanted to let everyone know that it was a huge success. It was great seeing a bunch of previous Kickstarter backers stop in just to grab play mats before they sold out. We ran a bunch of demos and even got on ShackNews because the hosts wandered over and loved our game. Here is the rest of my press round-up:
I got to meet Felipe Cagno (The Author of the Few and Cursed Comic) in person at PAX East and he was actually a huge help in the booth. One night we took the time to demo the early prototype and he was smart enough to get his wife to take some video:
We are happy to announce that we will be using PledgeManager.com again as our pledge manager (PM). For those of you that are new to Kickstarter or have never used a PM before, they are a 3rd party website/tool that will allow you to select all your rewards and products, pay for shipping, input/change your address and much more. When the campaign closes, we will start the process of importing all the Kickstarter data over to pledgemanager.com. Every dollar you pledge on Kickstarter will be honored in the PM. When we launch the PM, you should get an email from them and be able to login to confirm all of your rewards and maybe even pay for extra add-ons. We will have much more information after the project closes, but we have been getting a lot of questions surrounding this so I wanted to clarify that a lot of the particulars of your orders will be handled in the PM. Things like early shipping, add-ons, address collection etc. will all be handled and confirmed by each of you before we even start manufacturing.
Thanks for your support and congrats on unlocking Allies while I was away. I'm off to update the page now and am getting the next batch of SGs ready...
PS, I'm way behind on the comments section so feel free to re-post discussions of importance.
