Migrating Forms is an annual festival of new film and video.
May 20–29, Migrating Forms presents its 3rd annual festival over ten days at Anthology Film Archives, featuring a program of films and videos by more than 50 artists representing a broad spectrum of contemporary moving image practices. Also featured are nearly a dozen guest-curated and retrospective screenings. We show work that rarely screens in New York—or anywhere—offering an important opportunity for artists to see the work of their peers as well as to present their work to an audience.
Each year we attempt to expand the festival by offering more international programming, expanding our repertory selections, and bringing more filmmakers to New York for the event.
Our all-volunteer effort operates on a very lean budget and we rely on supporters like you to keep the festival going!
