Happy Saturday, Beckers!

Yes, it’s the weekend, but we know you’re busy working -- just looking at the comments and overall activity on our Kickstarter page, we can see you’ve all been spreading the word about Mighty No. 9 and our new physical disc and USB NES- and Famicom-style “cart” PC add-ons (now available via PayPal as well), our new Vita and 3DS stretch goal, and of course our wildly popular community vote for Call’s design

As a result, we had one of our best days ever yesterday, blowing past our Beck & Call Online Co-op Challenge Mode stretch goal (up next: Intro level and boss), and the momentum hasn’t let up since!

So with all of you helping out and supporting us so much in these last three days of our Kickstarter, we wanted to return the favor with a little weekend treat for you to enjoy: a making-of walkthrough of our pitch video from our friends at 2 Player Productions! It’s a cool inside peek at the initial idea for the video, along with what changed along the way, and why -- take a look:

With that, we leave you to your work (oh, and of course on our side, we’ve also got a few last things to work on ourselves! :) -- thank you again so much for your tweets, your Facebook shares, your fan art and everything else! Let’s keep this up and give it all we got, right up to the end!

      Thanks for the awesome update showing the engine test!
      I would LOVE to continue getting videos like this (and posts like the making of the Mighty No's) as the game continues development.

      I was wondering what decisions went into picking the Unreal engine over other ones.
      Certainly compatibility across systems since you're targeting multiple OS's, definitely ease of dev use, and the big one, whether or not it has the right tools to produce the desired visuals and styles, but I want to know what other engines were looked at. Were placeholder asset tests done on each engine? And what made the final pick Unreal over something else?

      P.S. Still hoping the Pink/Aero Call design gets used in some way. It was too awesome for it to just be dropped now.

      Aero was a character who would have appeared in Mega Man Legends 3--the pink Call design resembles her, so that's what some of the fans started calling her, and the name stuck.

      There's a couple companies that sell new SNES controllers on Amazon. They're 3rd party but they are also new. Some of them look exactly like the originals, so it's possible that is what you saw in the video.

      I have 2 used SNES controllers and I've been looking for brand new ones on the internet but can't find any originals... I just realized in the pitch video Inafune has a brand new SNES console with controllers. I bet there are lots of these in Japan. Any idea how I can get some shipped to Finland?

      This was nice insight into the making of the earlier video. I noticed how inconvenient it was for you guys with the wind and the time-related stuff (less people at the arcade, etc.). The ending was a really nice touch with the hat being left behind. I love how the main theme of the game perfectly captures the essence of this game and the video, as if hope was brought back to the fans of Mega Man and the aspects that came along with those games that are being brought back (but with new changes for a different experience that can come from all of this time passing).

      and also make me remember megaman 7 give wrong helmet to megamanin intro stage storyline.

      The prices for US or different, that just happened to be the Example with 250. An extra physical copy of Mighty No. 9 on disc (Steam version for PC, Mac, or Linux ONLY, your choice—you will choose via a survey later): Add $26 to your pledge ($31 for international backers)

      You have to pay extra for a physical disk:
      "Ex. 4 You can add more than one add-on as well! Let’s say already pledged for $250 (so you’re already getting a game download code), but you also want another copy of the game on disc, and two USB copies (one NES and one Famicom-style, both), for a grand total of four copies of Mighty No. 9! (God bless you!) Also, you live outside of the United States, so you’ll need to use the international prices. In this case, you would keep your reward tier at $250, and add $31, $41, and $41, all to your pledge:
      $250 + $31 + $41 + $41 = $363 total pledge"

      Physical Gamebox and manuel it means a DVD Cover or what ? ( PLEDGE 250$)

      I think it was a box with physical Disc in there ...

      If it does make it to the PS4/Xbox One then you could just remote play it on the Vita from the PS4 anyway. I know that does still leave out the 3DS, but this way it's still like having it released on 3 Consoles: PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita.

      Sorry to say this again.. but the 2,900,000USD goal should be the 3ds and Vita games. These machines are the perfect match for the game. How about you make a vote about pushing the 3ds and Vita up the ladder? :)

      Quick question, will this video, and the other videos such as the documentary episode 0 and the PAX reveal, be included with the official making of documentary?

      With the immenent addition of an extra into level/boss, the only thing that could make this game better is the inclusion of local co-op. I would lose my mind if I could play this with my friends and family in the same room. We all LOVE these types of games, and sadly don't have the best internet connection. Local co-op would make us best friends forever. I refuse to say bff.

      Local co-op, would be... wow. I'm not sure how, or if it would fit the game - but if there was a chance for local co-op story, I would die of happiness... Either way, this game is going to be fantastic. :)

      They made it seem effortless, by giving a nice flow to it, but it really was tons of work to get that effortless feel.

      To be honest, I noticed most of the references,
      specially the Roll one, wich I wondered myself: did they this deliberate, or it
      was casuality?

      Of course, it was deliberate. XD

      Usually, I use to look the merchandise when I see something about
      Japanese shops in videos, or photos, but I didn't noticed the Zelda
      game in this case.

      Those are shops, not what we have here. XD
