Really enjoyed these design updates. It sounds like your play testing is bearing fruit and I can't wait to see the final version of this game.
I'm really lost on this update. How does challenge tokens translate on challenge card now compared to before? How do we save a card that we drawn for later?
What does the explore action do now compared to before the change?
The story changesd sound a bit weird but could just be the decription that's off. Biggest question i'm left with is that you say stories triggers at random times, but what is the actual TRIGGER? What desides when they happen?
@Martin: The turn tokens determine whether there will be a story encounter or not in that turn. Among them there are character turn token randomly placed and are revealed when you reach that specific turn, that's how a character story is triggered.
@Orson: Challenge token results are now at the bottom of the challenge cards so you select a challenge card from your hand (and gets exhausted) and then draw randomly two more to see if you can reach the challenge result. So challenges now also deplete your deck. The only thing that changed with explore is not the action itself but the encounters. You now only get combat encounters in an explore (trek) action.
