Thanks to everyone for making our first year and a half together as a band such a great time. We spent a good portion of that time together, when we weren't at shows, working hard on this album. Eleven months is a long time to live with the recording process! But we think that, after hearing the album, you'll agree the time spent was worth it.
The Distance of the Moon at Daybreak is recorded, mixed, and mastered. Unlike a lot of CD projects, we don't need help getting it off the ground, only help getting the general release printed. Your help. We can't do it without you.
We've decided to print a limited edition just for our Kickstarter campaign backers. Really, really limited. There will be only 50 copies, and we're going to hand number and personalize each and every one. And you'll get a CD a month before the general release.
Since a lot of my friends like my cooking, we're also offering a total of ten tickets for our second birthday dinner party in August.* It was a lot of fun last year and sold out early.
There are three unique rewards, too: A dinner for you and a friend, made by Jon. A set of the primary color Midway Fair octopodes, hand made by Lexa Hartman. And music lessons on the instrument(s) of your choice from one or more members of the band.
Thanks very much for your support!
[p.s. We have no video yet because I was horrifically awkward.]
*Please note that the date of the birthday show has changed to August 27. We were unable to edit the reward text to reflect this change.
