Following the success of Engineerable’s original product, FocusShifter, we discovered that Photographers, as well as Videographers, liked the ergonomics and utility of FocusShifter for achieving precise control of manual focus and zoom, but did not need all the follow focus accessories. LensShifter is that solution.
Use with Prime and Zoom Lenses
LensShifter is available in 2 colors popular with adjustment features on professional camera gear, red and blue. Photographers and videographers use LensShifter to fine-tune focus when using prime lenses.
Precisely control both focus and zoom when using zoom lenses. Have you ever grabbed the zoom ring, thinking you were focusing, or vice versa? The different colors allow you to easily identify and locate your focus and zoom controls.
Better Ergonomics
Twisting your hand in awkward positions to adjust the focus and zoom and accidentally getting your fingers in the shot or in front of the flash will be a thing of the past. With LensShifter, the controls are moved to an easy to reach position. The ball at the top of the lever provides a comfortable grip.

Perfectly Balanced
LensShifter includes a Balance Counterweight accessory. You won't have to worry about the LensShifter handle moving when you release it or move with the camera.
The counterweight stays securely on the belt when attached. It is easily removable if you choose not to use it.
Non-Slip Grip
The toothed belt matches the grooves on the focus and zoom ring, insuring a non-slip grip.
Adjustable Tightness
The tightness of the belt is adjustable to your preference, giving you ultimate control.
Compatibility
LensShifter is compatible with most DSLR, Mirrorless, Micro 4/3, and other interchangeable camera lenses with a focus ring outer diameter between 56mm & 98mm.

LensShifter vs FocusShifter. What's the difference?
If you are familiar with our FocusShifter DSLR Follow Focus and may be asking yourselves, "What is the difference besides the color?".
FocusShifter is a full follow focus set, which includes all the accessories that you would need to take a cinematic style focus pull shot. FocusShifter is primarily for videography work. Find out more about FocusShifter at our website.
LensShifter is a simplified version that doesn't include the follow focus accessories. It's designed to improve the precision of focusing manually and adjusting zoom for both photo and video work.
LensShifter can be used by itself or in conjunction with FocusShifter. Example: If you are shooting a video, and want to setup a focus pull with the ability to hit the focus points precisely every time through multiple takes, then setup a FocusShifter on your focus ring. If you also need to make adjustments to zoom on the same lens, add a LensShifter to the zoom ring.

LensShifter sets are already in production. Engineerable has already successfully funded and delivered 4 KickStarter projects. We have a record of delivering quality products.
However, production delays that are out of our control sometimes happen, which is why we've given plenty of time to deliver the product. If the goal is met earlier than the deadline, we may ship it to you well before the delivery date.
