Miciosegone Games is an indie project born in Italy in the far 2008 when Pietro Turri, after several attempts to create a graphic adventure game, was finally able to release "Dovadula's Burn", an amateur free graphic adventure game made with Adventure Games Studio 2.7.
In the following years the Miciosegone team (formed by the brothers Pietro and Claudio and with the support of the English translator Paul Giaccone) created several free games with RPG Maker and Adventure Games Studio.
The first success of Miciosegone arrives in 2012 with the Nomination of "A Cat's Night" as "Best European Adventure" at the European Games Award 2012. Consequently the game has accumulated thousands of downloads.
In 2013 Miciosegone released "A Cat's Night 2: Orazio goes to town" and "The Path of the Pumpkin", the last two graphic adventures of the company, which obtained several nominations at the AGS Awards 2013.
After the release of its tenth game Miciosegone Games was hibernated because real life and its responsibilities had taken over.
In 2015 Miciosegone Games enters the world of boardgames with two free print'n'play games: the skirmish wargame "Pondemonium" and the card game "Yokai".
Now in 2016 Miciosegone Games is ready to come back and create high quality classic graphic adventure games for you to enjoy!

"TREX and Muscle Sam: A new Kickstart!" is the new installment in the "TREX and Muscle Sam" universe, born in 2009 with the game "TREX and Muscle Sam: Big Trouble in SPF" and extended with the Italian comic series in 2010, comprised of 25 episodes.
This new game is a sort of reboot, this means the story of the original game and the comics are nullified, but the setting and the characters are the same.
It's very hard to explain the plot of the game without making big spoilers, so the plot described in the teaser will be very synthetic:
Two failed tag team wrestlers, TREX and Muscle Sam, try to achieve success with unorthodox methods, but in the end who plays with fire gets burned!
The setting is a world where pro wrestling is real: the wrestlers are not acting, they're actually the character they play and the storylines are real life.
The two protagonists, TREX and Muscle Sam, are the sons of two legends of the tag team wrestling, and now they work in the same company where their fathers had a fundamental role in its creation.
Unlike their fathers, TREX and Sam are not very successful on the ring and don't have many fans.
TREX is an egocentric maniac that tries desperately to achieve success, but is actually an insecure nerd on the inside. He's Muscle Sam childhood friend and he's one of the few people that can understand what he says.
Muscle Sam most distinctive tract is that he's an anthropomorphic cat, but it's not a weird occurrence in a world where everyone impersonates their gimmick. He's not a very talkative guy, mostly because very few people can understand what he says. What Sam thinks is a mystery: sometimes he acts like a very brilliant person, sometimes like an instinctive animal.
This time we're going in a completely different direction than our previous games; in the past Miciosegone games were free amateur projects, now we're putting a lot more effort in our work and we're doing the best we can do.
For comparison, it took us three months to make the demo of "TREX and Muscle Sam a New Kickstart!". In the past it took us a month to make "A Cat's Night 2: Orazio goes to town" and just ten days for "A Cat's Night", our two most famous games.
This games will ensure hours of play (between 7-10) and dozens of originals characters, locations, puzzles and entertaining dialogues.
For now, the game will be released only for PC, at a later time we will decide whether to release the game also for other platforms.

With this amount we plan to extend the final game, with new cutscenes and a new chapter. The longevity of the game is expected to increase about 1-2 hours.
We plan to release the game in English, Italian and French with the money gathered from the basic funding. With this extra amount we can add more languages (they're going to be chosen during the production phase).
P.S. Other languages besides English will require more time for the translation, so the translated game will be released in a second moment after the English version.
If we reach this goal, after the release of the videogame and of the card game (the next goal) we instantly start to work on the next graphic adventure game, with exclusive posts and updates for the backers of this Kickstarter.
If we reach this goal, after the game release we're going to create the "TREX and Muscle Sam Card Game", a wrestling battle card game for 2-4 players. The print 'n' play version of the game will be available free for charge for all the backers (exclusively as a digital download).

With this goal, we can hire a professional composer to create an exclusive soundtrack for the game. The soundtrack will be available to be digitally downloaed for all the backers of the projects with the release of the game.

Biography: Born in 1988, he graduated in "Design" at the Art Highschool of Forlì and in "Sculpture" at the Art Academy of Ravenna. He started to develop graphic adventure games in 2008 with "Dovadula's Burn", a game telling the crazy story of his young rebel life in a little italian town. After university he balanced his work between graphic design and screen printing, all the while expanding his knowledge in the world of computer graphics. Between 2008 and 2015 he developed ten videogames, numerous comics and a free skirmish boardgame. For his works he's frequently interviewed by local newspapers. His hobbies include: comics, boardgames, old videogames, miniatures, movies and storytelling (through comics and videogames).
Biography: The youngest brother of the team, born in 1993 and graduated in “Restaurant Management”. He joined the company in 2009 during the production of “T-rex and Muscle Sam: Big Trouble in SPF”, where he made the puzzles for the game. One year later he became a game developer himself, with his first graphic adventure: “Space Hunter”. Claudio also created many boardgames, card games and dioramas. He has a great passion for old style adventure games, as well as japanese history and culture. Now he's working on the puzzles for the new game of T-rex and Muscle sam.
Biography: Paul Giaccone is a half English, half Italian software engineer living in London. He has provided translations for many AGS games, mainly from Italian to English. His hobbies include game development and languages.
Risks and challenges
If the kickstarter succeeds the game WILL see the light. The only risks are the difficulties and problems we may encounter in our common lives. We are two average people, not a big studio, so the contingencies may slow the production of the game.
The only real risk we may encounter is that the game release may be delayed, but we set a very distant release date and we believe that we'll manage to end the production of the game within time. The only issue is the translation that may take a long time. Unfortunately we are Italian and the game has to be translated into English at a later time, after we finished with the programming.
