Feb. 15: This is the end, my many friends!
To celebrate hitting our final stretch goal, here is a video of Jose Barajas making a delicious replica Sims 3 birthday cake which we used in the show!

We hit our final stretch goal. Any additional funds will go to our music budget and to hopefully get an animation intro sequence from Jason Adams! Thanks for all your support and to those who joined our live stream on YouTube/Google Hangouts on Air last weekend. -Michelle

Sul-sul! About the Project:
I'm Michelle and I am an avid lover of the game The Sims. My little band of misfits, Kill9 has made video game parodies before like the viral hit parodying Left 4 Dead, Boomer's Day Off. We want to start 2013 with an 8-episode live-action web series about The Sims. It will be a real-life soap opera, chronicling the triumphs and tragedies of our Sims characters.
From the suspicious maid, to the flirtatious wife to the loving father and the slob of a husband, everyone will have a story to tell in these short, but quirky episodes. See your favorite Sims events come to life like birthdays and even WOOHOO!
Timeline and Funding
The show will premiere in mid-February and be released weekly, followed by a behind-the-scenes video and some Question and Answer specials. The season finale will be in April and DVDs will arrive at your doorstep in May.
We're actually half way through filming and could use help to finish production. Funds from backers will go to feeding the cast/crew, paying for props and costumes as well as some transportation costs. In exchange for your generosity, we will be offering a special run of DVDs and Blu-Ray discs so that you can enjoy the show at home, knowing you helped make it happen.
Who is Kill9?
Kill9 was founded by a group of geeky friends in 2007. It's run by Michelle Osorio and has produced several web series and video game-related comedies and music videos like Werewolves with Top Hats (a World of Warcraft parody) which won 1st place in Comedy at the 2012 Dragon Con Fan Film Showcase... and Me and My Companion Cube (a Portal love song).
Get all that?
We hope to produce weekly content throughout the year and are hoping you can help us reach our dream of entertaining you with geeky stories and music. Thanks for reading!
Risks and challenges
We are on strict schedule to complete all production in February because we just learned a certain cast member is moving in March. Does that mean someone is getting killed off in the show? You'll have to watch to find out...
As for delivery, we have a small group of volunteers that will help with shipping out the DVDs and Blu-Rays when the season is complete. Other than that, this ain't our first rodeo so we feel pretty confident we'll be able to deliver a great show right on time!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
