MURDER BURY WIN - TEASER TRAILER
I love board games and I love dark comedic thrillers. So, I made a movie that weaves them together!
The film is almost completely done - and we just have one last leg of post-production left before the film is ready to be seen by gaming enthusiasts and genre film lovers.
This Kickstarter will not only help us finish the film (we reached our goal!), but it allows us an opportunity to give away all of the amazing and original film props created for the production, as well as provide opportunities to share in the success of the film.
Update: With several weeks left in the campaign, and lots of rewards yet to give away, we are adding one stretch goal to this campaign to cover the costs of film festival submissions. Please see below for more details!
This movie is about three young dreamers that want to strike it big in the indie board game industry with their game - Murder Bury Win. The objective of their game being how to kill someone and get rid of the body.
They run a crowdfunding campaign online - and fail. And just when they think they have no shot of ever realizing success - along comes a mysterious man who says he can publish Murder Bury Win - on the condition that he is credited as the sole author of their game.
Murder Bury Win is a cautionary tale about the measures peoples are willing to take to win. And it also might be about how to kill someone and get rid of the body.
FUNDING: THE FILM FESTIVAL SUBMISSION STRETCH GOAL!
Update: We did it, everyone! Thanks to your support, we managed to reach our goal exactly halfway through the campaign. Post-production plans are a go, and we are now in the process of finalizing plans for color correction and final sound mix. We could not have done any of this without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
We are adding exactly one stretch goal to our campaign - the Film Festival Submission Stretch Goal! We want this film to go to every film festival possible, and for $12,500 (only an additional $2,500), we should be able to cover the costs of every festival submission.
To celebrate, we are adding one new reward - the Film Festival Package. If you pledge to this tier, you'll get all of the previous rewards (digital copy of the film, the look book, original film props, the Puppies on Fire hoodie, a copy of the Murder Bury Win board game, a game character design based on you), a special thanks in the credits, and a pass to join us at any film festival we play at worldwide.
Once again, we are grateful for all of your support, be it through social media likes, shares, and direct contributions. Thank you for making this happen for us.

This Kickstarter will raise the funds necessary to finance the last leg of post-production: sound mixing and color correction. Any dollar raised beyond that point will go towards film festival submissions and recouping the budget.
We have a very successful cast & crew, having worked on a number of award-winning films, television shows, and projects. Murder Bury Win is the perfect confluence of everyone's talent and hard work, with a script that is tense, performances that are memorable, and a score that is both exciting and original.
I'm really proud of what we've accomplished, and I am excited to extend an opportunity for the audience to join all of us as we get ready for the next step of our journey. Together we can produce an original thriller that is both thought provoking and super fun to watch - especially with a crowd.

No cops, no problem. Use the Murder weapon to take out the intended victim before anyone else does!
Once you have a body on your hands, you'll need to dispose of it. Here, Adam contemplates whether "Put it in a meat grinder" is truly the best option.
The game comes complete with an extensive rule sheet. Here's the cover page.
I'll be offering a very limited batch of the game as a reward to donors $250 and up.
