Me O My Earth, the best garment for both babies and for the earth
Care for babies
Me O My Earth combines the highest quality fabric that cares for both newborn infants, and mother nature.
Me O My Earth aims to create the best eco-friendly baby garments in the world – and for the world. Our products are entirely made of certified organic cotton, spandex and Repreve, recycled polyester, including recycled plastic bottles.
It’s clothing, reborn.
Each garment supports the child who wears it, and the endangered animal community. This is how you can put your stamp on the world for the next generation.
Me O My Earth believes in nature and the power of giving back to the next generation. The babies who will wear our garments today will inherit our world tomorrow. It’s our responsibility not only to clothe and take care of them now, but to take care of the world for their future.
To that end, each of our garments feature an endangered animal, with our first collection focusing on the rhino. Each collection will be giving money back to an organization that supports the endangered species on the garment.
Born – and reborn – to be worn
When a loved one is born, the first thing you want to do is provide for them with the highest quality products.
Me O My Earth is created with that in mind. The ultra-soft fabric is made of an exclusive blend of certified organic cotton, spandex and REPREVE, the world’s leading recycled fabric.
Me O My Earth is designed to give new life, to new life.
Like organic foods 20 years ago, the idea of organic cotton is confusing to many of us. It’s taken a little longer to catch on because the correlation isn’t as direct. We don’t eat cotton fiber (at least we hope you don’t!) However, more people are becoming knowledgeable as to how the organic cotton movement is just as powerful and important as that of organic foods.
In addition to being one of the most widely grown crops in the world, growing conventional cotton is also one of the most chemical-intensive. These chemicals have tremendous impact on the earth’s air, water, soil, and the health of people in cotton-growing areas. They are among the most toxic chemicals as classified by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture. Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers use only methods and materials allowed in organic production. Information provided from Organic Cotton Plus website, see link below.
REPREVE is the leading, most trusted, branded performance fiber made from recycled materials, including plastic bottles. REPREVE transforms recycled bottles into an amazing fiber used by the world's leading brands to make apparel and materials, including Ford, Patagonia and many more. The process embeds properties like wicking, adaptive warming and cooling, water repellency, and more at the fiber level.
Compared to the normal industrial clothing process, making a blend of organic cotton and REPREVE offsets using petroleum, emits fewer greenhouse gases and conserves water and energy. That makes a big difference for our future.

The current trend for baby is focusing less and less on pinks and blues, but more on black, white and greys. As a baby's eyesight continue to develop over the first 6 months, we chose to focus on black and white prints to help stimulate your baby. We haven't completely eliminated pink and blue as we added some pop of pink and aqua in our star delight print to have a more gender specific option as well.

Care for Nature
For our first collaboration, we have partnered with Care for Wild, the largest rhino orphanage and sanctuary in the world. Baby rhinos that are orphaned in the wild rarely survive.
Founded in 2001, Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary makes its mission to rescue every rhino that is orphaned, to heal them and to provide a totally secure environment where they can grow, roam free and breed to ensure that there will always be rhinos in Africa.

Thankfully human babies weigh less than Rhino babies See above size chart to ensure you buy the correct size. When in doubt sizing up is a good idea.
It has been a fun year working on this project, from creating the brand name, designing prints to collaborating with Care for Wild and sharing their passion for our cause. Below is our timeline and we are happy to say that our product will be delivered on time for your Kickstarter purchase.
Our story is simple. We are three women who met while working together over 20 years ago, while working in the children's fashion industry. We are all moms and like most parents want the best for our children. We share the same passions in regards to sustainability, caring for others and Mother Earth. This idea was simple, how do we take our past experience and extensive knowledge in the children's industry and combine it with our passions. The outcome is Me O My Earth. Our goal is to leave the world a cleaner and happier place for our children and future generations.
