Short Description :
If you are as much a Halloween nut as I am, chances are at some point in your life you wanted to own a Jars filled with all sorts of body parts, creepy crawlies and mutant abominations. Well I wanted to have props like that but the problem is no one is selling something like that. You have to direct your attention to special effects work shops or related businesses to get something like that. So I decided to make my own this year, and I am happy with the result I am going to share them with anyone that is interested my project.
Even If you are the only one out there that wants to have Jars like those for this Halloween I will be happy to make a set of Jars for you provided you reimburse me for the materials and shipping cost.
In other words the purpose of this campaign is to share my latest hobby with other people that interested of having it. Plus i want to keep on working on them for a little while longer to get that much better at making staff like that.
All the Jars are handmade on an Individual level and can incorporate some degree of customization provided the customization is within my abilities. All the jars have been lased with powder that makes them glow in the dark If they are exposed to direct sunlight for a few minutes. This effect gives off a very creepy vibe in a dark room. The campaign will only last 15 days to insure that everyone gets their Jars in time for Halloween. So If you are interested in my Jars or you know someone that can be interested in them you should let them know since this is a limited time offer and it is going to be available only for this Halloween.
The Story :
Hi I am Emmanouil Michellis, founding member of Megaz Entertainment Studios and a very big fun of Halloween. This project started off as a personal project, Just me in my garage messing around with every material I could get my hands on trying to make some of those mad scientist sample Jars you see sometimes in old school horror movies.
At first like everybody else I tried to see If I could buy them somewhere, but my search ended up fruitless. There are no Jars like these anywhere on the market, and so after I spend a few days looking for something like that online and In stores, I decided that this year I will make my own. It didn't work well at first, there is learning curve I guess. But I am happy with my current results.
Plus this is my way of thanking all of you for all of your time and support you gave us In the Madhouse Pandemonium campaign. Even though we didn't reach our goal the support and kindness we experienced form all of you during the duration of the last campaign is unparalleled and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for it.
You will be getting the following items that are separated by size. In too small, medium and large categories.
All of the jars come with bottoms up glow effect designed to illuminate both the jar and it's interior to get the very best creepy laboratory jar effect in my opinion.
The smaller versions are pocket sized about 2 inches tall.
The medium sized jars are approximately 4 inches tall.
Finally my favorite creation so far Dr. Steve's brain in a jar. A new twist on a classic idea.
I have no Idea if there are a lot of people out there interested in this type of prop or If I am the only person on the planet that likes them.
We have reached our first stretch goal of $200 and I will take the time out and make tutorial videos on how to make all this staff and I will upload them on our YouTube channel for those Interested to make their own .
Our second Stretch goal for $500 will give you additional options for your orders. If we reach this goal you will get the following options...
Large Jar Options:
Brain in a Jar / Hand in a Jar / Rat Skeleton in a Jar
Medium Jar Options
Eyeball In a Jar / Severed Tongue in Jar / Troll embryo in a Jar / Animal Skull in a Jar / Crab in a Jar
Small Jar Options
Severed finger in a Jar / Insect in a Jar / Tooth in a Jar / Mini Jellyfish in a Jar / Severed Tentacle in a Jar / Slug in a Jar
Risks and challenges
The biggest problem is the packaging and shipping of the jars. The jars are field with fluid and they are made of glass. That means that a great amount of padding is needed to insure that the jars reaches its destination in one piece. This also drives the cost up dramatically.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
