About this project
Fight back the oppressive forces of Darkness in Myth: Dark Frontier, a fully cooperative board game for 2-4 players. Take on the role of an iconic Myth hero in a desperate fight to protect the city of Farrenroc from the legions of Darkness that seek to despoil its holy walls.
Dark Frontier is a stand-alone game. It does not require Myth.
Dark Frontier combines high adventure with resource management, programmed action selection, and epic conquest to create a unique gaming experience to further enrich the world of Myth.
Players take on the role of iconic heroes from the world of Myth, aiding the besieged city of Farrenroc in its never-ending quest to push back the Darkness. Each hero has a small deck of five actions: Travel, Battle, Encounter, Fortify, and Quest. Three of the five are selected and placed in one of three time slots (morning, day, and night).
These selections are made for all heroes and the enemy at the same time, then shuffled. Each time phase is played out by drawing and executing the action, be it a hero or an enemy. Players will need to discuss their planned actions with each other and play them in the appropriate time slots. All the while, the enemy is moving to destroy Farrenroc by any means necessary.
The forces of Darkness spread across the land, methodically crippling Farrenroc's influence in hopes of eventually laying siege to this last standing beacon of Light. Each game of Dark Frontier pits the heroes against a single army, contributing its own unique minions, captains, boss, and treacheries. Heroes must contend with these threats while also mustering the support of the land to unite against a mutual foe.

Risks and challenges
Please contact us at email@example.com. We don't use the KS comments system. It is untrackable and unsearchable.
This is our seventh Kickstarter. We have produced miniatures, dice, books, cards, maps, and counters in previous games. We've done our best to minimize unknown risks as much as a company can. We will communicate all the pieces and parts through KS updates.
We have successfully delivered Myth, MERCS Recon, Banner Saga Warbands, Dumpster Diver, the first wave of two for Emergence Event, and two waves of four for Myth: Journeyman. Emergence Event and Journeyman stretch goals are in production currently.
The estimated delivery date for Dark Frontier is August 2017. This is only an estimate, but we are very confident in its delivery because the vast majority of the game and stretch goals are printed material and are already done. We don't expect it, but if this KS is delivered in multiple waves, shipping will be charged for each wave.
From past experience, the more successful the KS the longer the delays, but we have always delivered. We understand that delays can and will happen with anything produced overseas, especially with logistics and customs.
International backers (especially in the EU) may receive their rewards later than others.
After the initial funding, backers have an opportunity to ask for a refund from the Kickstarter system. All refunds after MegaCon Games receives the funding are done at our discretion.
If we’ve begun packaging your pledge for shipment (usually 4 to 6 weeks before the actual shipping date), no refunds are possible.
This project is being funded in USD and any refunds processed will be in USD for the exact amount received in USD, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.

If you confirm your pledge within 8 weeks of our notification via email, you agree that our responsibility to ship your order to the address provided. Shipping will be charged after the project ends. We have estimates for shipping in the FAQ, but these are only estimates. The more stretch goals unlocked, the higher the shipping will be.
Once the pledge has been mailed, you are required to update your address and claim your pledge. You are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods.
