The Stand-Up Desk Kit is a work surface up to the size of 47 x 23 x 1 inch desk which sits securely on top of a current desk, easily converting it into a stand up desk. There are four Patent Pending non-slip, adjustable legs made of sturdy recyclable ABS plastic which adjust in 1" increments for various heights, allowing just about everyone to use it and reap the many health benefits of standing while working. At its lowest, the Stand-Up Desk Kit is 12 inches above the original work surface, while at its highest setting the Stand-Up Desk Kit is 17 inches above the original work surface. The Stand-Up Desk Kit's smooth top surface is made of high quality MDF composite wood, essentially shrink wrapped (we think it might involve magic too) in your choice of finishes.

If that size is too big for you, then you need a custom size! Choose the custom size backer level and you'll be able to scale our design down to fir your needs. We'll gather your custom measurements with the backer survey. We want to help as many people as possible convert to a healthier workstation.

Finish Options

Standing while you work shouldn't mean that you have to look bad while doing it. That's why we are offering our Kickstarter supporters their choice of finishes.

For the work surface, choose from: Black, white, glass, cherry, leather, brushed aluminum, shark gray, and pine.

And for the legs choose from: Black, white, gray, yellow, red, and blue. One of our stretch goals for finishing options will be a transparent leg.

What's the Money For?

We've put lots of time and our own money into developing the Stand-Up Desk Kit this far. Now we need your help to launch the Stand-Up Desk Kit! Our biggest hurdle lies in the leg production. We need to get a high quality mold to produce our 3 piece patent pending adjustable leg. This leg is the key piece to creating the most affordable, adjustable stand up desk in the world.

When we reach our funding level, extra money will go to further research and development of our delivery system. Such as allowing future orders of custom sizes so no matter what size your workstation is, you can use a Stand-Up Desk Kit. We also want to prototype legs cut out of aluminum, and scaling up the Stand-Up Desk Kit so it could be it's own Stand Up Desk.

Shipping

We found the best fulfillment house in our area and are excited to announce that our super low Kickstarter price includes shipping in the US! Unfortunately, we cannot ship internationally at this time. Our total package came in at 36 lbs and obviously the size of a desk. To ship one to Europe would cost hundreds of dollars. It's ok, stop crying, we have a plan. We want to setup a distribution network for all you interested parties internationally. We are already talking with some great people in the UK who want to order in bulk and help sell to Europe. Easy Installation

It's really easy to setup a Stand-Up Desk Kit, unpack the work surface and legs from the box. Using the included screws, attach all four legs. Adjust the legs to your desired height and insert the safety screws. Then flip the desk over. You're ready to work! If you don't believe this text, watch the video.
