Any scenarios we officially support will be translated. To start with this will only be the scenarios designed as part of the Kickstarter, but in the future we hope to have more officially supported scenarios.
User generated scenarios would need fan generated translations made for them. We are expecting users to create a lot of scenarios and we would not be able to translate them ourselves.Last updated:
The following countries we have worked at making shipping friendly. We are still working with our logistics companies to expand this list:
- United States
- European Union
- Hong Kong
- New Zealand
If you do not see your country on this list, we will still be fulfilling to that country, but their may be taxes are fees your country charges that we are unable to cover through shipping.
We cannot guarantee UK friendly shipping at this time. We will have more information closer to the shipping date. We will still be fulfilling in the UK, but there may be additional fees upon receipt.Last updated:
Each enemy type has it own AI deck unique to that ship type, with different movements and special attacks. In addition some enemies are strong against certain kinds of attacks, but weak against others.
When enemies begin paring up, they have abilities that will enhance each other, removing weaknesses that were there previously.Last updated:

Pre-painted ships is something we considered. Previous games we've produced received quotes for pre-painted and it was 4X the price of the mini's for pre-painting. If it's the same for Starlight this would mean we would have to charge around $240 extra for the mini's, not including the additional logistical considerations, which will increase the shipping cost.
That does not mean we're removing it as a potential option completely, but it's something we have to consider very carefully.Last updated:
We agree. The current narrative is the first draft released for the prototype. It is still being worked on, and the over feel is being refined. We will be providing updates regarding the narrative feel with samples as soon as we can.Last updated:

We are trying to develop the app to have this capability. The beta, which all backers will have access to early, may not have this capability while we test the app out, but we are dedicated to it having this capability!Last updated:
We would like to be able to support more than 4 players, in the future. At this time however we need to focus on making sure all missions are balanced for 1-4 players as originally intended. We do not want to add additional development that will only delay the release of the game to you. We plan to support Starlight for a long time to come, and will be working on additional content and expansions after our current plans for Starlight are complete.
We will be releasing the companion app prior to the game shipping, and we encourage people to develop their own scenarios designed for more players in the mean time.Last updated:

Most enemy types have a normal and a strong variant. The strong variant will have not just additional health and damage, but also protection against some attack types or other bonus'. This provides a minimum of 24 different opponents throughout the campaign with current unlocked stretch goals. this doesn't even account for how different a battle will feel when different enemy types begin to team up with each other!Last updated:
Currently there are 8 playable ships (+1 add-on ship) and 8 playable pilots unlocked. This gives 64+ potential combinations of pilots and ships, with both pilots and ships adding at least 2 unique upgrades creating 256+ potential unique upgrade combinations.
Added on to this are all the standard and unlocked upgrades you will receive throughout the campaign.Last updated:

We are working closely with GameTrayz and our manufacturing partner to try to organize this. There are a few issues we are trying to work out however so we can not yet fully commit to sleeve space.
1) Space: ensuring that the try fits the sleeve means Game Trayz needs to design the insert to fit 1900 cards, not 950 (double the space is needed)
2) Box Size: our manufacturer has already warned us that a larger box will create a weakness during shipping, and will result in a much larger amount of games damaged during shipping. We are working with them to test other box sizes.
3) Organizing Issues: More space creates a less-tightly packed game for non-sleeved games. This means that non-sleeved games will have a much higher chance of the cards becoming disorganized each time the game is put away. Again, this is something we are working on.
4) Cost: We also need to make sure that the cost of the game is not significantly increased due to these changes, so that we can deliver what we have promised without issues.Last updated:
If you were an early bird backer (#4302 or lower) and choose to purchase Starlight All-In - we will give you a $7cdn credit towards your shipping in the pledge manager (we are negating the cost of the Charis add-on for the EB All-In people!)Last updated:
