we finally got our shirt - the black on black looks awesome!! thanks :)

    2. Creator Chris Sanderson on January 12, 2013

Thanks Mark the T Shirts all arrived, no issues after a couple of washes logo and color all holding firm. Certs are great!

    3. Creator Mark Cathro on January 11, 2013

So, how does everyone like the certificates that came with your orders? I had a blast making them, and I really hope you all liked them. Be sure to check out the small print!

    4. Creator Mark Cathro on January 4, 2013

Anthony (and everyone else!) I'm very sorry to hear about the peeling. With plastisol ink it "sets" under heat; too little and it can wash away. Too much and it can crack and come off. We strive to make the shirts "just right" but we may have over or under "cured" the ink. My advice to everyone is to wash the shirts inside-out to help them last as long as possible. Being new to the shirt biz I am still learning how best to make them last. If any other people experience excessive peeling/cracking please let me know so I can determine if this is a "one-off" or if there is a larger issue with how me are curing the shirts.

    5. Creator Mark Cathro on January 4, 2013

Kevin- Regarding the tags on the bottom of the shirts: They are rip-away tags designed to come off. If it doesn't sit right it is easy to just pull it off. I've already done that to several of my shirts. (And unlike those mattress tags, you will not be breaking any laws be removing it!) :-)

    6. Creator Mark Cathro on January 4, 2013

Ed, there has been no movement on the custom shirt backers because I am still finishing up the initial delivery of shirts. There are still about eight to ten backers who have not gotten their shirts. (Due to us messing up the print and having to re-order or hard-to-find sizes/styles etc.) All of them should go out within a week or so. Once they are out the door I will move on to the custom designs. Soon, I promise!

    7. Creator Ed Sochacki on January 4, 2013

Any news for the three $300 backers on their special shirt designs?

    8. Creator Gavin Lambert - Tormented Dreamer on January 3, 2013

Shirts (and dice bag) arrived today (about ten minutes ago, in fact). They look awesome. Hopefully Anthony's experience was indeed atypical and they do survive a lot of wash cycles. (But I usually wash printed shirts inside out to help preserve them longer -- hopefully that works for these too.)

    9. Creator Anthony S. Vornheder on December 26, 2012

Have to say that I am disappointed. After a single washing, not having been worn at all, the lettering is popping up on the bottom. Hopefully, my experience is atypical.

    10. Creator Kevin A Swartz, MD on December 26, 2012

Got the Elminster/Drizzt shirt - I absolutely LOVE IT !! Thanks !!! I've already worn it a couple times and I love it when a random someone sees it and actually "Gets it" :) I want to give one constructive comment though, the tag is at the bottom of the shirt and 'flips' out constantly (I wear T-Shirts untucked). Just letting you know if you look toward changing that design in the future. Those shirts where the tag is printed on the fabric are always nice, just sayin .. either way, thanks for my new fav t-shirt

    11. Creator Anne on December 26, 2012

Love my shirts! Hubby got the mech and is in nerdvana. We proudly wore them to our local comic book store (gah, should have typed "grocery store" to keep the geek level down) and got mobbed! Thanks for a dang fun KS!

    12. Creator Jan Hendriks de Geweldenaar on December 22, 2012

Shirt arrived today in the Netherlands.
      It looks great.

    13. Creator Arbitrary Ranger on December 21, 2012

lol that's awesome. I would have never seen it myself, it was my wife who pointed it out to me; you can always just blame it on Radagast and his mushrooms.

    14. Creator Mark Cathro on December 21, 2012

Uhm, because I can't spell worth a damn? Looks like that one slipped through the cracks! And here I thought I was doing so well. Looks like all the backers that got a Mirkwood shirt got to sooper-rare "variant" edition! Sorry about that everyone!

    15. Creator Arbitrary Ranger on December 20, 2012

Got my "Mirkwood National Forest" T-Shirt - Outstanding! Just a random question though, why is there an 'l' at the end of forest on the sign? Just curious - love the t-shirt non-the-less.

    16. Creator James McKendrew on December 16, 2012

Shirts and bag received! Everything's awesome! My girlfriend didn't think about it and wore her Boobies of Persuasion to the grocery store. Everyone was REALLY nice to her, for some reason...

    17. Creator CORNE on December 13, 2012

      shirts received, thanks a lot!!!!!

    18. Creator James McKendrew on December 11, 2012

@Garv - Stop pretending that you "fill the bag".

    19. Creator Lee Garvin on December 8, 2012

Got my shirt and bag! Wearing one of them right now!

(I'll let you guess which of those two items I'm wearing.)

    20. Creator Amiel Kievit on November 28, 2012

      Any updates on delivery date?

    21. Creator Just Dave on November 19, 2012

I know you are busy busy with the shirts, is there any update on the dice bags? Just curious how that part of the project is going

    22. Creator James McKendrew on November 15, 2012

So how's your work-heavy weekend go?

    23. Creator James McKendrew on October 27, 2012

      And lo, I am surveyed.

    24. Creator James McKendrew on October 21, 2012

Well, just shy of 800% ain't bad... Congrats! Also, you officially have my cash.

    25. Creator Lee Garvin on October 21, 2012

Wow! You're closing in on you membership in the 1000% club!

    26. Creator Mark Cathro on October 20, 2012

Update sent. (And we both know mom loved me the best.)

    27. Creator macathro on October 20, 2012

You're a slacker! You were always a slacker! Mom loved me best darrnit! Can we see the $10K stretch goal now please? :)

    28. Creator Senator Cybus on October 20, 2012

Oh, wait - *looks at the clock* - that's probably why. My bad. Don't mind me, I'm just drunk on gin...o_0

    29. Creator Senator Cybus on October 20, 2012

Hey, you've gone past the $10,000 mark; why isn't that stretch goal unlocked now? Unlock it, that I may be tempted to throw more money at you, damn it! :)

    30. Creator Julia Gosztyla Ziobro on October 20, 2012

Yay! Long (or 3/4) sleeves! Mark, you are my hero. Can you tell us which shirt supplier you're using. I'd love to be specific to save you trouble. :-)

    31. Creator Will Edgington on October 20, 2012

      Yes, long sleeves please.
Also, how much for extra shirts? I'm probably missing it somewhere.
Lastly, I see the total is over $10,000 with 32 hours to go; it would be helpful to see the stretch goal before the end ...

    32. Creator Mark Cathro on October 20, 2012

Julia, YES I'd be happy to offer longer sleeves. As far as I am concerned if I can get it from my shirt supplier I can print my design on it and give backers what they want. There will be parts of the survey/form I send out after the project ends where backers can specify size, style etc. I'll probably put out another update today spelling that out since a lot of people miss the shirt update as it is burried in the updates section. Thanks!

    33. Creator Julia Gosztyla Ziobro on October 20, 2012

Mark, this site has a bunch of women's shirts with longer sleeves in the $5-7 price range. http://www.t-shirtwholesaler.com I would even throw in an extra $2? a shirt to get long or 3/4 sleeves. Hurry up and say yes and I will get another shirt! LOL I am so tired of short short sleeves but I love the longer-sleeved shirts and would wear them places other than to bed. :-)

    34. Creator James McKendrew on October 19, 2012

Whoa. You've picked up a few big-dollar backers in the past few days.

    35. Creator James McKendrew on October 9, 2012

I can't NOT get a D-Bag, for cryin' out loud.

    36. Creator Lee Garvin on October 7, 2012

I'm down for a bag: who else?

    37. Creator Mark Cathro on October 6, 2012

Yes they are! I was VERY pleased with how well the samples turned out. I think people are really going to like these.

    38. Creator Lee Garvin on October 6, 2012

      The beans: they are spilled!

    39. Creator Martin Dickson on October 1, 2012

One "You Win Initiative" level becoming available... :)
      (Budget blowout) :(

    40. Creator James McKendrew on September 28, 2012

After visiting Garv at his place of employment, jacking him up against the wall and interrogating him mercilessly...
      ---
Garv: Wanna hear about... The Beans?
Me: Nah, I'll learn with everyone else.
      Garv: Ok, I'll tell you...
      ---
I promised not to spill them, but all I can say is... I feel sorry for the Ogres. (Did he tell you about the Orkworld game, Mark?)

    41. Creator James McKendrew on September 25, 2012

Awww.... Garv... Beans AGAIN??? Ooh. Now I want Mexican for lunch.

    42. Creator macathro on September 25, 2012

      Mmmm...beannnssss...

    43. Creator Mark Cathro on September 25, 2012

OK Lee, I just ordered samples of the...uh...beans. :-)

    44. Creator Lee Garvin on September 24, 2012

Hey everybody! I just talked to Mark, and he's not sure about a possible product expansion. I'm not going to spill any beans here without his permission, but I'm hoping you guys will help me convince him that these are some awesome tasty beans, that need to be spilled!

    45. Creator James McKendrew on September 24, 2012

Different kind of distraction, to be sure. Unless you're into that kind of thing... (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) I haven't figured out whether I'm getting distraction, persuasion, or both for the gf. (They DESERVE both, but it's a matter of what she'd wear.) The Mech-damage shirt is PERFECT for a friend whom I owe for a favor he did me. Handy, that. B-)

    46. Creator Mark Cathro on September 24, 2012

I find man-boobs to be a bit distracting. (Not nearly so much as the other kind, of course!) Just posted an update on the blank shirts we will be using, and just $14 to go until the next Stretch Goal!

    47. Creator James McKendrew on September 23, 2012

It's difficult to have distracting boobies with men's shirt. (But certainly not impossible...)
