Production on Rescue Polar Bears is finished!! It will be in our warehouse for us to begin fulfillment in September!

The factory sent us pictures of the Polar Bear Meeples and the Fire & Ice Dice and we think they look fantastic!

Aren't the bears adorable?

The dice came out really well.

All the bears!!!
All the bears!!!

Come see Rescue Polar Bears at GenCon booth #2101

Since production was completed, we decided to have a few copies of the game air-mailed to us at GenCon. We will have less than 20 copies of Rescue Polar Bears to demo at the booth, and to give to reviewers. So if you'll be at Gencon, feel free to stop by and take a look at the components in person!! At the end of the show, we may sell a few of the open copies to get the word out about how awesome the game is!

I share in the frustration about copies being sold at Gen Con to non-backers, but I just have to say the polar bears look ADORABLE! I cannot wait to get my copy and play with my family. They look as cute as I originally hoped they would. Please keep the updates coming! Thank you.

@Tammy - It also says "At the end of the show, we may sell a few of the open copies"

@Mohammed Al-Mohanna, the demo copies are solely for people to use at the booth. They won't be give out to people. The only copies that will be handed out will be given to reviewers. The update specifically says: "We will have less than 20 copies of Rescue Polar Bears to demo at the booth, and to give to reviewers."

The Bears looks amazing cannot wait to get my hand on them and play the game with my kids. Is the red die engraved as I cannot tell from the pictures?

TBH, I'm not happy to hear that some non-backers will get the demo copies especially that this is running behind schedule from an established company in the industry. The least you can get our opinion on that matter. I would suggest to give the remaining copies to more reviewers also to get buzz about the game and its a win-win: you get to build hype and don't upset your supporters.

Keep the Update cumming and cannot wait to hear how is the reception of GenCon crowed are receiving the game and the component. I will keep my eyes for any Mayday interview.

It really burns when Kickstarter companies sell copies of games that backers helped support to people who didn’t care to pledge their hard earned money BEFORE shipping games to people who did back their project. Shameful!
