Delay in Kickstarter project is a normal thing. However, it is vital to keep the backers in the loop for any update and give us the new info straight. We understand that this is a convention season but that doesn't give the excuse to abandon the backer with no useful estimation or explanation of what happens.
Many multi-million project run to troubles but what keep us backer is that we are being informed ASAP with clear information and course of action and better estimation for the coming milestones. Communication and transparency is a key.
I think the biggest thing is when backers receive updates, it's been over a month since the last update, delivery was originally going to be in June and you let the entire month go by with no updates.
We all understand delays and honestly, I expect them but communication with your backers makes things go so much smoother.
This update did nothing but upset your backers.
Great! An update that apologizes for not giving more info, then says there are thongs that have gone wrong, and proceeds to... not give any info.
