Welcome to Walkerville, a landscaper’s paradise of green grass and lush yards. The Mayor of Walkerville is looking for the best landscaping company to care for all the city’s luxuriant parks, awarding a lucrative contract to the company that earns the best reputation, and the chance to rake in Mow Money for years to come!
In Mow Money, each player is new landscaping company competing to accumulate the most Reputation Points. Each player starts with a push mower and a dream to win the city contract. Players will invest money to buy new Lawnmowers and Bid Cards. Bid Cards are used to win Contract Cards that are worth Reputation Points. Can you carefully manage your Bid Cards to undercut your competition and win the city contract?

So let's face it, we have had a lot of previous KS projects and all of the games have been successful. In fact, we've never had an unsuccessful game on Kickstarter. You'd think by now that we would be "set" and not need to do such a project any more, right? Well, not so much. While Mayday has been successful, we are still very small. In fact we are just a few employees. We are a very small game company and all of our cash is tied up in other projects. In fact if you look at our history we introduced just 3 new games in 2010 and 2011 before Kickstarter. Since KS we have had nearly 20 new games, but that is ALL thanks to backers like you.
By doing the KS program we are able to gauge interest and get the game made in much larger quantities and with cheaper prices to our customers. This is a large part of why we can offer our last few KS projects at such a low price point. With this much stuff in the game and such a small company, this would only be possible with the support of the KS community.
This project is also "CANADA FRIENDLY" meaning all shipments to Canada will come from within Canada. We are working with an established Canadian company to handle our Canadian fulfillment so you will NOT be stuck with any VAT/Duty/Customs bill!
Risks and challenges
This project doesn't have any risks to speak of if we meet our goal. The factory is ready to publish and the art and layout has been almost all completed. Any additionally needed changes should be completed prior to the end of the campaign. We have launched and distributed more than 20 prior Kickstarter Projects. .
Anyone missing anything at all from any prior project please send us a message here on Kickstarter and we will get you replacements sent immediately. We have had over 15,000 backers so we expect a few of you may have slipped through the cracks. Thanks again for all of the support!
We have just two undelivered KS projects at present, Viceroy, which ended in December 2013 and is a couple of months behind schedule. We expect to finish delivering Viceroy in late July 2015 and get it delivered as quickly as possible. Delivery is already underway and should finish during this campaign.
Click Clack Lumberjack ended in early May and it is on track to delivery according to its estimates.
In April/May 2015 we delivered on Hold Your Breath, Dead Man's Draw, Coconuts Duo and Chopstick Dexterity Mega Challenge 3000, all of which were late.
Another recent project, Meteor, was also delivered in May, 2015.
We have had 20 Kickstarter projects complete and note that all but these most recent are totally fulfilled and we will strive to get this project completed and all rewards to backers in a timely manner. Due to the last several projects being late, we are putting extra time into our forecast for delivery to ensure this project will NOT be delayed beyond the estimated delivery date.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
